The Law of Attraction and You

Friday, August 31st, 2007

What precisely is the Law of Attraction? You’re sure to have heard all about this term lately, especially with the popularity of the book and film called The Secret.

So what is it all about?

Here goes: the law of attraction basically means that you can manifest anything in your life that you wish. To put it more simply, if you want something badly enough, you can have it. This is achieved via your thoughts and action. Essentially, you can control your existence in ways you have only dreamed of.

The universal laws of attraction work when you wish for something so strongly that creation has no option but to transfer them to you. It’s almost as if you are a magnet and anything you want in life is attracted to that magnet. There is a catch though - you have to really believe that you can have these things that you so relish.

Once you have a strong desire for something or to become something then nothing can stand in the way of you getting it. That’s how the universal laws of attraction work. In fact, absolutely anyone can use these wonderful laws and many people do. Most people are not aware of them at all though and are essentially missing out!

If you focus on the outcome of something that you want (for example, a new car), then eventually things will fall into place that will allow you to achieve this end. For example, you may get a salary increase or even a new job. This will bring more money and therefore lead you to that new car purchase.

The universal laws of attraction can also work in a bad way. If you have continuous negative and doubting thoughts about something in your life, then you’ll pull towards you more negativity and “bad luck”. Don’t try and lie to the universal laws of attraction; they will know if you are being truthful. I know this all sounds transcendental but I’ve used it myself and it seems to be very accurate.

You can use the universal laws of attraction to accomplish anything from quitting smoking, to getting a new job, new house or simply becoming a better human being.

As with many things, there are the usual skeptics for the law of attraction. And with good cause - is it unrealistic to think that we can have absolutely anything we want just by thinking about it? Well yes, that is unrealistic. The skeptics fail to reflect about how this law actually works.

Of course things aren’t just going to magically materialize in front of you. It’s not what the law of attraction is about. You must consider yourself a magnet. Everything you do or say causes things and people to come towards or away from you. So of course if you are a positive thinker and a work hard, good things will come to you. That’s what the law of attraction concerns itself with. The whole of creation will remunerate those people who want it most.

An example of the law in action is, say, you want a new house and you dream about this house all day long. Consequently, you are going to start thinking of ways to raise money for this house. A considerable part of your time is spent reflecting about the house and how to get it. Ultimately, you are going to draw towards you people, money and opportunity into this new house world of yours and therefore you will get your house.

The law of attraction is a wonderful thing once you really comprehend it!

Accentuate The Positive

Friday, August 31st, 2007

How badly do you want your life to change and improve? How much have you studied up on self help, personal development and success? How many articles and publications have you read? While research, thought and planning are important tools on your path to success they are not the only weapons in your arsenal and in fact might even be hindering your success if you give into the easy choice of becoming a perpetual student of success. If you read every self help book available then you will never become a success because there won’t be any time left to act upon the advice those publications offer. While it is good to listen to advice eventually you are going to have to take action and that can’t be done while reading. Our every thought either takes us toward our goals and desires or away from those goals and desires. Therefore every thought has a positive or negative effect on the direction of our lives.

Compare your brain to a computer. If a new PC is loaded up with virus contaminated programs would you expect it to run smoothly? Of course not, because you get out of the computer exactly what you put in, as my former computer programming teacher always said “garbage in, garbage out” and your brain is exactly the same.

Your every thought determines the direction of your life. If you are moving backward then take time to analyze your thoughts. Make a determined effort to recognize negative thoughts and treat them as your worst enemy. Try not to dwell on them. Putty can be molded into any shape or form and so too, your life can be shaped and your destiny set by your thoughts.

If you find yourself weighed down by a lot of negative thoughts find a way to let them out. If you have a considerate, nonjudgemental friend who is willing to listen then vent. Pets are great sympathetic listeners. You can also use a journal to vent your negative thoughts. A good friend of mine recently went through a very difficult time, professionally and personally, and while she did a fair amount of crying on the shoulders of her loved ones she found it counterproductive because they were too sympathetic and that sympathy would often only emphasize her sense that she’d been wronged. She needed to find a way to break that cycle so she could move on. She wrote out her frustration and anger and then held a symbolic burning party. I haven’t tried her method myself but am holding it in reserve for future tough times.

Remember, the potential for change is the same for everyone. It only takes acceptance of the idea that change is possible coupled with the determination to follow-through. It’s not always easy to control our thoughts, but certainly not impossible, and the rewards can last a lifetime.

There are many books on the subject of self-help, but remember, you must take action to succeed. Your thoughts will not change simple by reading an article or book. You must apply what you learn to your everyday affairs. Allow what you read to awaken the possibility of change within you, then take action.

One of the most beneficial practices for positive thinking is to look for the “good” in everyone and everything. Remember to encourage others everyday by a kind word or deed and be ready to offer (or receive) compliments.

Find opportunities to put the power of your positive thinking to work. For example, you might be standing in a long line at the supermarket checkout. Rather than get upset, do your utmost to help-out and encourage others with a kind word or compliment. You will be surprised at the positive reaction and at how many people will bless you with a wonderful smile in-return.

Taking the time to notice others and look for the “good” in every situation will not only life your spirits, but will brighten the day for everyone around you - it’s a win-win situation to be sure. There are a 1001 ways to look for the good in others, be they family, friends or those you may only meet once. So, get the lead-out, get rid of those negative thoughts and become a winner.

Begin today to change your thought patterns one step at a time. Set yourself a goal for the week or month and devote full attention to controlling your thoughts. Start with at least one hour each day and increase the time as your confidence and thinking improve. It is a habit that needs nurturing and a habit you’ll come to cherish.

If you accentuate the positives in your life and concentrate on making still more positive changes then there will be no stopping you on your road to success.

Clutter: Winning the Battle With Clutter

Friday, August 31st, 2007

Clutter - stashed, stacked, strewn. I frequently come back to this topic because it’s like the Lochness Monster - it may disappear for a time in our lives, but it seems to creep up on us until it rears its ugly head again! Let’s do battle!

Right now on my front porch is a pile of bags and boxes full of shoes, purses, kitchen stuff, grooming products, lamps, an old VCR, tape players, and other perfectly good things that we just aren’t using anymore. All this perfectly good stuff is going to a new home (courtesy of a great charity organization) where it will be put to good use, instead of sitting in our basement or in the back of the closet. Does this feel great? You bet!!

Why does it feel so good to get rid of the clutter in your life? When your life (or your closet) is so crammed with “stuff” that it’s overflowing, there’s no margin, no space for something new and wonderful to come into your life. If you are feeling stuck – start clearing the decks!

If you go into an office or come home to a cluttered, crowded, disorganized space, you don’t have the chance to fully recharge your batteries. That is sapping your energy. Most of us have become masters of disguise, too, keeping our clutter well- hidden behind closet doors, in bottom drawers, in the basement. But, you KNOW it’s there, and it has the same effect.

“At some level of awareness, you become the caretaker for every scrap of stuff you keep. Don’t kid yourself: You are devoting a proportional amount of psychological energy to every object in your domain whether or not you are aware of it from moment to moment.” – Jeff Campbell, Clutter Control

OK, so you’re convinced. Now what?

Set aside one segment of time – an evening, a Saturday morning, an hour here and there – and devote it to cleaning just one area of your home. It could be one drawer, your desk, your pantry, your medicine cabinet, one section of your closet. If you are a professional pack rat, here are some tips for you:

1. DO ask yourself: “When was the last time I used this item?” If you can’t remember – then toss it (or donate it). If you haven’t used it in 6 months – toss it.

2. DON’T ask yourself these questions: “Is this useful?” or “Might I use this someday?” Obviously, the answer would be “yes”, and you’ll keep collecting clutter on top of clutter, and never get rid of anything.

3. Invite a friend over to help. Not another packrat or collector, but someone who is not attached to your junk and will find it easier to be objective about tossing stuff out.

4. Start appreciating the value and beauty of empty space! You’ve all seen those “clean sweep” shows on TV. You know how thrilled those people are when they see their newly reorganized space - complete with clean, white space on the walls, in the cabinets, and on the closet racks.

Every client I have worked with finds this victory over the battle with clutter to be one of their most helpful and rewarding accomplishments. Their lives improve, they get unstuck, they become more productive and disciplined in other areas of their lives – they are basically happier, freer, more energetic people.

Once you’ve done it, keep on doing it. Make this a lifestyle habit. There are many books and websites out there on clearing clutter and getting organized. If you just can’t do it on your own, get a buddy who wants to take on this task in their own life. Commit to each other.

Get started today, and have your first victory celebration as you begin to win the battle with clutter!

Is Being Rich Bad?

Friday, August 31st, 2007

Why do some believe it is bad to be rich and others do not? First of all it is a matter of perspective, what is rich? Materially speaking most Americans, when compared to the world, are rich. Most make more in a month than many make in a year. But most do not have the abundance that is commonly referred to as being rich. Most of these think that money is the answer to being happy, successful and content. Others think that money is the root of all evil and to pursue it bad or a sin. Neither one is the truth.

Money is nothing but a form of exchange or a way to measure the ability to buy things. The way it is perceived and used is the key. The bible says the LOVE of money is the root of all evil. When someone loves money more than God, more than their reputation, more than anything then that is wrong. Just read the newspapers and you will see examples of this behavior. People who are willing to loose everything for the chance to be rich are revealed almost everyday. Their pursuit is both wrong and futile. Jesus taught to gain the whole earth and lose your soul was fruitless and foolish. To put your trust in money would make it easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for you to enter the kingdom of heaven. The kingdom of heaven is not the salvation freely given by God through Jesus, but the reign of Jesus on this earth for one thousand years. Being rich than can be bad.

Money when used properly can feed the poor, house the homeless, educate the illiterate, build hospitals, and meet the material needs of the world. Socialism is not what is needed, but to make it possible for the standard of living to be raised, so they can contribute to the world. Being rich then can and should be the desire of everyone. Not to have more “things” but to be able to help others.

What would you like to do for others if you were rich? If money was not a problem what would you do? Would you spend it on yourself or would you seek God’s will in how to spend it? What your desires are will affect your ability to become rich. If you desire to become rich to do good things for God he will bless you. But if you want to consume riches on your own lusts you will suffer loss. You should use your talents and abilities God has given you to become insanely rich and then give it away. As you do so you are laying up treasure in heaven. These heavenly riches will last forever. They will be with you for the eternity that waits for you. These are true riches.

You do not have to be insanely rich to serve and please God. You can serve him with what you have. God is not interested in your money but your spirit. What is the priority of your life? It should be to bring glory to God in all that you do or hope to do.

Jesus said to seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness. So be obedient and follow his instructions. When the blessings begin to flow use them for his glory through good works.

Warren L. Adams is a preacher, teacher, and mentor. He wants to inspire Christians to live their life to the fullest for the glory of God. Through Death Into Light: A Story of Love

Thursday, August 30th, 2007

At the edge of the Garden of Eden, at a place not far from where the wilderness meets the cultivated landscape of fruit trees and flowers, stands a little house, and in it, sits a small man with a long gray beard who reads from a very old book with dry, dusty pages that he turns every now and then. He cannot see much in the dim light, for there are no windows in the little house, but the light that shines from within sets aglow all that surrounds the house in any case, and leaves enough light for the book to be read.

Within this book are the names of those who have passed through the portals from life to death during the past year, and the book is called the Book of Life. As the ancient man reads the names, he conveys a special blessing to each one whose spirit ascends from the place where it has gathered to rest and review its circumstances, before proceeding on further. With the ancient one’s blessing, the souls of the departed are given permission to rise still further in the light so that they may begin the next stage of their journey.

The ancient one who reads from the dusty book is not a sage, nor is he God himself, nor is he a friend or relation of the departed souls. No, he is rather the Lord of the Underworld and of the Overworld itself, and he is in charge of the transition into light of the ones who await his blessing before moving on. As Lord of the Overworld, his blessing moves souls into greater light. As Lord of the Underworld, his blessing moves souls further into the fires of purification so that they, too, may be given renewed opportunities to release the darkness they have carried and to ascend into the heavenly spheres.

Each soul is weighed according to its thoughts and actions during the previous lifetime, and each is given the test of truth which is the ability to see for themselves the truth that lived in their hearts while they were yet in bodies. The ability to deny truth is no longer present in the ones who are no longer in bodies, and each can see clearly and without doubt, the good that they have created and the harm they may also have been instrumental in creating. Such witnessing is a great gift and a great responsibility, for there are new choices to be made in the presence of truth, and new opportunities given for learning that may not have been possible while in a body.

For the souls who are primarily experiencing the fires of purification, these souls are becoming acquainted firsthand with the darkness they have carried, and they are being met with the same pains and sources of distress that they may have caused to others out of the dark motives of their heart. These souls are not being punished. They are being given the opportunity to release what they have held onto so that they can be set free to move into the spheres of light by their own free choice to do so.

The souls in the Underworld and the souls in the Overworld are aware of the blessing of the ancient one when it comes, for it lifts the one who receives it in an embrace of love, and, while this may not be directly perceived by some, it nevertheless provides a forward motion and sense of new possibility for the souls that seek the light. In the end, all souls are weighed and measured according to the quality of their hearts as well as the actions of their bodies, and each finds the place of resonance within the spheres of light that corresponds to the greatest opportunity for further development.

At some point the old man closes the book and closes his eyes for a very short while, as he rests from the work of holding the souls in his care in the delicate embrace of advancing light. But his rest is very brief, and not much is needed, for there are always souls waiting to be blessed, and there is always his heart waiting to pour forth additional blessing upon those who have departed the sphere of earthly life.

Play Piano - How to Play Piano By Ear

Thursday, August 30th, 2007

Training your ear is much the same as training your dog: you keep shouting orders at it until it recognizes what a certain sound means.

For example, if someone sat at your piano and kept playing major chords without interruption for two straight days, you would no doubt recognize a major chord any time one sounded during the remainder of your life!

Or you might have the same dedicated friend strike nothing but major thirds: C and E, D and F#, F and A, etc. And the next time you heard your car horn you would probably exclaim, “Hey! It’s a major third.” (Most car horns are “factory-tuned” to a major third.)

Once your ear is trained to decipher certain sounds, you can pretty much drive all of those around you to a padded cell with your recognitions. “Hear that train whistle? It’s a perfect fourth!” Or when a car horn passes you on the highway producing the sliding Doppler effect: “That car just produced a tritone portamento descending!”

In spite of that, many of you have written requesting some tips on how to play piano by ear, so here it goes:

The first order of business is to find that friend who will sit and pound out the sounds for you. The best one that we can recommend is your tape recorder, or a cassette recorder. It should have a numerical counter on it so you can rewind to a specific spot accurately. (Thanks to the electronic age we live in, we can all become better musicians than would have been possible some years ago.) The tape recorder should be set up on a table close enough to your instrument so that you can operate it with the least amount of hassle.

You now must record a series of sounds, which you wish to learn. The question is whether to start learning melodic intervals, chords, rhythms, and chord progressions, whatever. Most teachers would recommend starting with melodic intervals such as skips of a major third, a perfect fifth, major sixth, etc.

For example, the first two notes of “Here Comes the Bride,” is a perfect 4th. In the Key of C, the notes would be C to F! In the Key of F, the notes would be: F to Bb.

But I personally feel, you should start with chord progressions. It is a lot more fun, and gets you right into the “mix” immediately.

You can train your ear in melody easily enough by continually picking out melodies of songs on the piano. The operative word is continually. And later on in your tape recorder exercises you can record easy melodies, which you will later take as musical dictation.

So if you want to start playing piano by ear, just practice and study very simple chord progressions. But before recording any progression, I advise you to record the tonic note. (The first note of the scale)

For example, if you are playing a progression in the Key of C, record the single note C followed immediately by the progression. This will orient you to a “home base” and make things a lot easier.

Harness the Power of Skill Sets and Mindsets

Thursday, August 30th, 2007

When you have a problem, sometimes you need a new skill or
skill set to deal with it. That was an epiphany generated
from listening to a speaker the other day. Everything seemed
so clear in that moment. Yes, it made sense.

Sometimes when you wrestle with problems, you might not see
an immediate solution and you struggle to find one. After a
while, you might give up completely, thinking that it is
impossible to find a solution for that particular problem.
At that moment, the idea that you might simply need new
skills or knowledge to overcome the difficulty can be very
empowering.

Making that mental connection allows you to escape being
stuck and giving up, it focuses your mind on a solution. It
doesn’t allow you to think that there is no solution which
can only lead to depression or feeling ‘down’.

But then you might think that you lack knowledge or skills
in a certain area. Yet, you know that you could either find
that knowledge or develop the skills to solve your problem.

Alternatively, you could hire someone to solve your problem.
NO killing please, that is not a solution, but a doorway to
greater problems. However, under normal circumstances,
hiring someone with the right skills is perfectly
acceptable. For example, you might higher a plumber if you
have a problem with your shower or sink. You could take the
time to learn the skills but you have to weigh the value of
that learning curve against how much it would cost to
actually hire someone with the skills already.

Maybe you have decided that there is no one with the skill
set you need available or that it is worth your time to
develop a new skill. What are some sources of knowledge and
places to develop these new skill sets? Libraries, books,
online searches, bookstores, Internet, circles of influence,
brainstorming, mastermind groups and even asking someone you
don’t know for their viewpoint can sometimes yield new
ideas, leading to new results.

The bottom line is that there are resources everywhere for
you to tap into, you just have to open your eyes and allow
yourself to become aware that this is the case. There is
always a way to find new resources and you can keep tapping
those resources for expertise until you find what you are
looking for and you develop the new skill.

There are also ways to reframe existing problems.
Questioning the underlying thoughts that support your belief
that you even have a problem in the first place can
sometimes yield interesting results. Sometimes we get stuck
in a mindset and asking ourselves questions to understand
the legitimacy or redefine the reality of situation can be
most useful.

The Secret - Missing Link

Thursday, August 30th, 2007

The Secret is on many people’s mind. Many people have asked me—“Have you read, The Secret? It is a must read if you haven’t.” Not only have I read the book, The Secret, I have practiced the principles for decades.

The Secret principles are based on metaphysics and have been spoken of by the greatest thinkers, writers and leaders throughout time—Plato, Aristotle, Albert Einstein, Rev. Martin Luther King Jr., Dale Carnegie, The Power of Positive Thinking, Carl Jung; “What you resist persists.” Buddha, “All that we are is a result of what we have thought.”

“The first philosophy (Metaphysics) is universal and is exclusively concerned with primary substance. … And here we will have the science to study that which is just as that which is, both in its essence and in the properties which, just as a thing that is, it has. ….That among entities there must be some cause which moves and combines things. … There must then be a principle of such a kind that its substance is activity.” (Aristotle, Metaphysics 340BC)

‘The Secret’ is simply the metaphysics of ‘The Law of Attraction.’ However, there is a glitch in the current understanding of The Law of Attraction—a.k.a. The Secret—that can create havoc in your life.

First we need to review the up-and-down cycles of the duality issues we face on this wondrous Earth planet of third dimension.

Somewhere hidden in the recesses of your ‘contract’ is an often overlooked fine-point that is easily forgotten. “The party of the first part (you) to the party of the second part (the Universe), you hereby agree that according to the messages you send out to the Universe, so you shall reap.” This phenomenon is written in the Bible, Galatians VI (King James Version), “Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

Therein lies the danger. If the request you send the Universe is convoluted or conflicted, your request will be granted and you will be supplied with complete confusion. That is the up-and-down cycle. Your emotional confusion hook relies on not only being clear about which messages, requests and/or intentions you send out to the Universe, but whether they stem from a foundation of consciousness.

Therefore, you need to look inside yourself. If you have even one emotional molecule, one fearful particle or one cell stuck in a ‘lack, fear, anxiety, unworthy program,’ you will not be able to sustain the law of attraction on a positive, on-going basis. As we all know, one spoiled apple can ruin the entire barrel, so will carrying a particle, molecule or cell embedded with these self-defeating programs within your mind, body and spirit.

Many people come to me with unconscious thoughts of “I don’t deserve,” “I’m not good enough,” “I feel less than,” “Why do these bad things always happen to me?” “Why me—Poor me,” or “Self-doubt—Maybe I am not meant to be wealthy, successful, etc. etc.” These unconscious thoughts trip the sabotage downward spiral.

The dynamic of the fearful lack program is constantly at work through the third dimension, the sense that you are not worthy, not validated and not deserving to have it all. You are constantly bombarding yourself with negative messages of unworthiness from childhood and other messages you adopt from a plethora of sources. This is the reason it is challenging to sustain, maintain and continue the law of attraction in positive fulfilling ways. You absolutely deserve to have it all. However, you need to make sure you and the Universe receive a clear focused message.

Fortunately, there is a cancellation policy in your contract. Cancel all programming, all fears, all messages of lack in your consciousness, in your cells, molecules and particles. Go forward with clear intentions of how you require your life to be.

Embrace the law of attraction by sending out clear, productive messages to the Universe. Trust the process. The Universe provides all that you ask. As you make your requests, be sure you absolutely know for what and for whom you are asking. Confusion draws confusion. Clarity draws clarity.

The missing link is: Be clear about your intentions, and leave them open-ended so the Universe can work for you. Avoid the temptation to manipulate the outcome or the timing of the process. The Universe knows what to do. The Universe is generous to a fault. Stay out of the outcome so you can draw the income to you more quickly.

You can attract exactly what you want to draw on your canvas of life. You are the artist—let your heart’s desires and hands paint the picture, and trust the canvas called ‘the Universe’ will support your grandest picture. Your contract is between you and the Universe. What you agree upon is what you get. Make sure you are absolutely clear about the terms of that agreement. Be sure to review your contract and read over all the fine print. Remember you created the contract in the first place; you are your own law of attraction—stay clearly focused on your heart’s desires without doubt.

The Need to Win

Wednesday, August 29th, 2007

The need to win is espoused as being a virtuous or heroic characteristic by many. It is, in fact, one of the basic motivating principles in our society today. If you asked anyone whether they subscribe to a life based on such a need you would likely be told that life would not be possible without it. After all, is it not supposed to make one feel superior, secure, successful, and fulfilled?

I would however like to take a closer look at this “need” and suggest that in fact it is driven by a deeper and somewhat more sinister force that most choose to deny is working in them.

In order to do this I will ask the question: “For these individuals whose lives are so dominated by the need to win what is actually driving this need?” Well if you scratch the surface, I think you will see that this need can only come from deep feelings of inadequacy and insecurity. That is because, by definition, “a need for something” implies that that something is “lacking” in the first place.

So if one has a “need to win” in order to make themselves feel superior, secure, special, better than the rest, happy, joyful , successful and fulfilled, then it goes without saying that they, if they choose to be honest with themselves, deep within are lacking these very experiences.

Until and unless these experiences can be fulfilled the “need to win” will continue to run their lives. In other words they will be enslaved by it while all the time “thinking” and “professing” that it is a good thing.

If one looks at the impact that the “need to win” has on an individual one notices some or all of the following: addictive (i.e. out of control) behaviors such as trying to out do others constantly, propping themselves up constantly, putting others down, a hyper vigilance, a feeling of paranoia, feeling tense, feeling insecure, having to work very hard to “secure the ramparts” so to speak etc.

In other words what we see is an individual who is actually “not” in control of themselves. Hence one who really has very little mastery over their own lives and over their inner emotional state. How successful and fulfilled will such an individual feel? Very little, I’m sure.

If they were to stop and recognize how they are being “seduced” and “undermined” by this “need to win” they might have a chance at freeing themselves from it and truly regaining control over themselves and their lives. There is in fact a way to do this with a tool called the Mind Resonance Process(TM).

If you are such a person, who needs desperately to win, stop for a moment and notice what this, is really doing to you and your life. If you recognize that this is not a pleasant experience and wish to finally be free and at peace (what most of us are really searching for I feel) then you may wish to visit the web link below for an introductory consultation.

Goals – The Mountain, the Mountain Bike and You

Wednesday, August 29th, 2007

This is about personal goals and about the easy way to set such a goal. One of the main problems with goal-setting is not the activity to target a goal, but to select one that seems reasonable; not too easy but still serious.

Using the metaphor of climbing a mountain is useful and even better is to add something like a mountain bike. This bike adds the aspect of the tools you need in your way up to the top; the tool that supports you in achieving your goal.

As said, selecting a mountain is the easiest part in goal-setting. If you are not experienced it goes without saying that you shouldn’t target Mount Everest.

The mountain bike is essential in your journey, because here you are presented a choice of using modern technology or just the old stuff. One type of coach could just focus on adding more energy, to hit the pedal some more. But, another coach could tip you that the current bike you are planning to use will not help you getting there.
Don’t underestimate this tool thing, because innovation could just mean the difference in getting you where you want.

The last element is the toughest one and that is you. Any start is simple, but now imagine that you have reached some height, but you are still not there. And your resources are running out. So from that moment onwards is where the hard work comes in.
From that moment on, you will hear voices. When you are indeed alone it is your own voice telling you that to target this other top “which is only a bit lower than the previous set target.” “And it is just as well a pretty goal.” If you are not alone, others will tell you that you are nuts, “why would you go that far?”

But you shouldn’t listen to those voices, because they are fooling you. Concentrate on your job and on your target. This is, if you are serious. And than, you will get there.
