The ABC’s Of A Great Life: “W” Is For Why Not?

Sunday, December 31st, 2006

A great life requires many skills, abilities and traits of personality - and one of them is the capacity for pure, spontaneous fun and enjoyment. The freedom and the ability to jump into whatever bit of play or discovery that presents itself to hand is a valuable coin that buys its bearer many wondrous adventures and experiences. And who knows? That next bit of harmless fun might just be the catalyst for your next great quest or provide some keen insight into your vision for the future.

Cultivating a “why not?” personality can be tricky if you’re not the spur-of-the-moment type. It can be easy to hold fast to the security of allowing yourself only activities that have been pre-planned, pre-examined and pre-vetted for safety, productivity and risk-reduction. But where is the fun in that? And life is meant to include its fair share of fun, make no mistake about it. Living a great life means taking every opportunity to indulge in play every chance you can - indeed, most truly great people make a point of arranging their lives around their fun, rather than the other way around.

Of course, “why not?” doesn’t apply just to opportunities for fun and play. Why not learn a new skill? Why not try a new style of dressing or carrying yourself? Why not explore a new technique or way of doing things? In other words, why stop growing at any point when you could be constantly on the lookout for new, exciting and possibly life-altering additions to the life you already live? Why not grow?

Are you open to the spontaneous and playful opportunities in your life, or do you close yourself off from unplanned adventure? Are you willing to introduce more fun into your life? Of course, we all have plans that we choose to pursue and goals that we want to meet. But as in every journey in life, if we allow ourselves the freedom to dally here and there on the way we often discover that it was the side trips and roadside sights that were more fun than the destination itself!

The Power Of Your Thoughts

Sunday, December 31st, 2006

Throughout the ages mankind has attempted to control his world around him by many different means. In the physical world we have invented all kinds of ways to make our lives better. If you believe the bible then in the beginning everything was perfect, mankind was in need of nothing. God took care of everything, He provided food and not much else because there was no need for much else. Mankind did not even need clothes. Can you imagine that, everybody going around totally naked! Anyway if we are to believe the bible, and I do by the way , I am a Christian, mankind began to look out for themselves after the story of thru fist sin. The first item they made was clothes. Thereafter we have been constantly inventing and making anything that will make life easier for ourselves, from houses to cars, boats, airplanes, microwave etc, etc. Look around you, with every glance of the eye you will see something that mankind has made in an attempt to better out lives. That is unless you are in the middle of some untouched part of the world where man has yet to disturb and even then you are probably not naked. We must admit that as far as material things go we have come a long way. The question is, with all that we have done materially to make life better, why is it that so many people are unhappy, feel that they are not loved, many do not see any purpose in life and tragically some reach the point of ending it all in suicide. This is the question, why?

There must be another aspect, another dimension to our lives that we need to be mindful of. This other realm is the spiritual, or the supernatural or whatever you want to call it, the realm of the mind. More and more we are beginning to realize that this world, this spiritual world, is what really controls us and all that we do is a result of what’s going on in the mind. The wisdom literature of the ages all point to this fact that it is not what you have on the outside that really matters, but what you have on the inside.

Eastern religions do meditation and things like yoga exercises all intended to improve your state of mind. Christians believe in a life changing power coming from God that manifests itself from the inside out through prayer and meditation and a study of the bible. We can see that all of these religions seek to bring about change in our lives by changing our thoughts, what goes on in our minds. Quite recently I have come upon what is a new subject to me and that is the power of manifesting. This is where one zeroes in on our thought processes and literally attempts to bring about something, be it a physical item or an intangible such as wisdom for example, by using the power of our minds. Christians would call it a prayer of faith, where they believe for something and that God would bring it to pass. It is a very interesting topic and one in which we might all benefit if we can approach this it with an open mind. No matter your religion, or your prior spiritual beliefs there may be something in manifesting for all of us.

Colour Your Life

Sunday, December 31st, 2006

The colours of the rainbow speak volumes and nature has its own language for communicating with us and lighting up our life through colour. Imagine for a moment what our world would be like if we only had black and white, and the in-between shades of grey.

Each colour has its own vibrational frequency. Yellow represents sunshine, happiness and creativity; red strength and courage; blue patience and stability; pink love and compassion; purple royalty and power; green healing, growth and prosperity. White is a symbol of truth, purity and cleanliness.

Any decorator or designer will tell you how important colour is in our lives. People’s interest in colour therapy has increased enormously in recent years. It is true that by looking at certain colours, or being surrounded by them, either through wall colourings or flowers and fabrics, there is an influence on the moods of the soul.

Since the face is the mirror of the mind, moods do without doubt reflect through the ‘colour’, i.e. the state, of our being. When sick, we are pale. When pleased, we are as ‘pink as peach’ and when shy we go ‘red as a tomato’. But is it really possible to change moods simply by sitting in front of a colour? Since colours make us ‘feel’ something, the soul is therefore responding to that particular frequency. This is reflected in our aura and if we take a moment to look within we find how colourful our world truly is. If we have weak and negative thoughts, doubts and worries, we ‘cloud’ our internal colours, ‘dull’ those shades, and we are left feeling depressed, without beauty or radiance. Everything seems colourless. Yet in those moments, we should remember that every cloud has a silver lining.

Each colour is in fact a virtue and the more we apply it to ourselves and others, the more we reinforce that tint on the soul. By emerging more and more virtues, we make the soul and our life colourful. Every virtue can be likened to a flower, each having its own fragrance, and together creating a beautifully scented bouquet.

This week, bring some colour into your life by emerging your hidden virtues. Be courageous. Be peaceful with yourself. Share love with those around you. Be kind to someone new in your life. Be generous towards those less privileged. But most of all be pure in your motives. These are some of the colours that will ‘cheer up’ the colour palette of your life.

Funnily enough, when we are full of all colours, we arrive at white, which is the compound of all colours, symbolizing simplicity and contentment!

The Power of Observation - How Learning From What You See Can Change Your Life

Sunday, December 31st, 2006

In the land of the blind the one eyed man is king. It’s one of those sayings that seems universally acknowledged for its truth, and equally universally ignored. After all, haven’t most people got two good eyes? The thing is, the saying isn’t about how many eyes you’ve got, or how good they are, it’s about how well you use them.

One of the strangest things about being a human is the way we have to unconsciously ignore most of the information available to our senses

We have to do this to continue functioning - otherwise we’d probably end up like those old fashioned sci-fi robots - all flashing lights, warning buzzers and smoke pouring from our ears as we shout overload - overload! Then of course, there’d be a sparky flash and we’d blow a fuse.

So the ability to be blind to most of what we see and deaf to most of what we hear is quite useful. It helps us get by in life.

Unfortunately there’s a flip side, because we also miss a lot of very important stuff - and especially when it comes to our increasingly complex work environments, where office politics and competing personalities can leave us baffled and floundering.

Whatever our role we tend to be so busy just getting along that we rarely make the time to sit up and really take notice. So in this particular land of the blind we may well be with the blind. Those that have taken the time to properly look about them have a tremendous advantage over us.

Habit of not looking

It’s an advantage that has been handed to them because while they have the habit of looking, we are in the habit of not looking, of not hearing - of not noticing. Making the decision to change that habit can offer immense paybacks. Many of my coaching clients have cited their new found observation habit as their key to unlocking their personal power and their ability to change things for the better.

Here are just a few of the benefits of enhanced observation skills:

Better understanding of friends and rivals, bosses and staffImproved decision making skillsRecognising and emulating ’success behaviour’ (whatever your own definition of ’success’ is)Learning the best ways to help peopleLearning the best ways to influence peopleFinding new ways to solve persistent problemsSeeing opportunities and problems before they happen

With benefits like these it’s no surprise that confidence and self belief improve too.

But isn’t all this talk of observation a bit creepy, you may ask. If what we mean by observation is spying, I’d agree. However, every day observation skills need not be even remotely underhand. That’s because the amazing and powerful things you are likely to notice are already plainly in view.

As Jonathan Swift said: vision is the art of seeing things invisible to others. And why does so much of what’s in front of us seem invisible? Well, perhaps because people only see what they are prepared to see (Ralph Waldo Emerson), and because: what we see depends mainly on what we look for (John Lubbock).

Getting the Observation Habit.

Building the observation habit is surprisingly easy. It takes little more than choosing a focus for your budding observation skills, and the willingness to practice. I’d recommend focusing on one kind of event or one person at first. And it’s also useful if there is some kind of challenge you wish to address. This might something like how to be more effective in meetings by observing behaviours and reactions, or perhaps how to communicate better with an awkward member of staff. It can also be very effective for learning to handle someone who intimidates you.

Once you get into the swing of being more observant you’ll probably find an interesting by-product - it’s actually great fun. In fact you can enjoy it so much that your observation habit can seem more like a hobby.

Use a Journal

If you want to get the best out of your enhanced vision I’d recommend one tool above all others - a journal. Journaling is a fantastic learning tool. It consolidates the things you’ve learned during the day and often leads to fantastic insights that you would never have had otherwise. How do you journal? Simply make yourself some quiet time and write about the new things you’ve seen, and what that means to you.

So - are you really happy to keep the blinkers on - or would you prefer to try a little experiment with your ability to really see what’s going on around you? Start today. You’ll be surprised.

The True Test of Character is Admitting When You Are in Error

Saturday, December 30th, 2006

Are you able to admit when you make a mistake or when you are in error? Many people are not and this is problematic for socialization amongst humans. It appears to be a hard-wired part of the innate characteristics of mankind. Almost similar to sales psychology once a customer decides to buy something.

Recently in a conversation I had stated that; The True Test of Character is Admitting When You Are in Error. Why did I state this? Well simple really, because the gentleman on the other side of the discussion or debate would not yield to obvious points of contention and actually real life observations.

The other gentleman was holding fast to his political correctness and was dead set against the use of any stereotypes to describe any event or potential eventuality of a future outcome. Indeed the political correctness had gotten into his ability to make decisions and plan for the future.

In essence he had denied reality of the situation for his demand to follow politically correct social means to get to the ends ehy? Yes he was a Canadian, French Canadian, and it was obvious that this hardheaded arrogant American (label) and that French Canadian could never come to terms so we merely agreed to disagree. Yet, The True Test of Character is Admitting When You Are in Error.

Luckily we did agree on that as the French Canadian stated; You are right, I am willing to admit when I’m in error. This is excellent news so I graciously await this gentlemans correspondence telling me he was wrong and I was right again! Consider all this in 2006 liberals.

Is Finding Your Life Purpose Preventing You From Living It?

Saturday, December 30th, 2006

Lately I have been getting a lot of requests for assistance in the area of “life-missions” and soul purposes, and I wish to communicate this concept, based on the feed I receive, but more importantly from a grounded and comprehensive 3d perspective. This idea of a life-mission or purpose seems to be the one thing that holds most people back from self-actualization. From my experience, it seems that this is where people get stuck and remain dormant in their lives, mainly because of mere indecision and lack of clarity…of which {soul-purpose} is more often a process of integration, rather than a sudden revelation.

I would like to clarify that this concept of a life-mission, is no more or less than the one thing that you are doing in this now moment, every moment, that brings you unprecedented and timeless joy. It is your essence… the expression of yourself that brings you into alignment with the timeless/formless and the space of the eternal. For some, this is nothing more that having a good talk with a friend in need. For others it is growing and sharing organic vegetables with your neighbors, and for many more it is the love and nutrition you provide for your family each day.

Yet for some, this mission could be the sudden revelation that you receive as an inventor or scientist, or the inspiration to produce a documentary or film. Most probably though, this elusive life-mission is something you are already doing or being, it is the part of you that is natural and the part of you that you love to share. Sometimes its a hobby, sometimes its a living, but we can often make it much harder to notice by constantly searching for it. Perhaps this searching begets more searching…

Are we missing the point of the messages from the many masters of our time which is that our only purpose is to find and emit joy, whatever that means to each of us? We all have an individual signature expression of such, and it is only in that expression that we are evolving and lifting our vibration to the realms of our soul-u-lar truth and expansion. From my experience, soul-purpose is nothing more than who we always are… only we learn to engage it, trust it, and expand it as we grow into spiritual maturity. As we do this, we focus on this once small part of our lives until it merges into a continual expression of self. When we have grounded our truth (self expression) into our everyday reality, only then are we whole again…being who we chose to be in the first place, without distraction.

So then, it can be said that our life-purpose is in this now moment, not based in some future concept or alternate universe. It is the small things that we incorporate into our lives, the big things that we eliminate because they no longer serve us, and the courage to let go of an outworn life that no longer matches our current perceptions. This is how we make room for our passions and create the space to allow our missions of joy to unfold before us… but only as we are prepared to receive them. We must clear our canvases of mis-creation to allow our souls to paint the new and higher versions of ourselves and our lives…and this is where true joy resides, in the creation and experience of those creations.

To do this, we spend many years in preparation for the actualization of our signature essence, aka soul purpose. It is a process of clearing our emotions and detoxifying our minds and bodies for purification to allow the light of our souls to enter. We must heal ourselves of chronic dis-ease through releasing past memories of betrayal, heartbreak and abuse; we must let go of our codependent behaviors and addictions; heal our relationships and find forgiveness in ourselves and in our perpetrators.

We must open our awareness and hearts to those with differences, and join in partnership with ideas and concepts we never thought possible. Mostly,we must grow to respect the path of each individual and honor the mirrors in all to continually lift ourselves out of the forceful momentum of a life based in misaligned thoughts and creation.

As each of us engage in our personal metamorphosis, however it unfolds, we often find ourselves alone, rejected by and isolated from our peers, families and even our own mates. But ultimately in all of this, we learn to stand in our power and take responsibility for our lives and happiness by exploring the whole gamut of human suffering…that is, until the polarity of extremes is no longer necessary.

And this by far, has global ramifications. When we engage in this self exploration we heal ourselves and provide the example for others so that one by one, gender by gender, race by race, culture by culture, community by community, and nation by nation, we can eventually heal the world..or at the very least, set it in motion. Our gifts are in these challenges and years of stretching and growing into our new skins. Our opportunities then, reside in this suffering and often our “life purpose” is hidden behind our challenges and reveals itself in sharing our path and what we learned upon it with others in a way that will encourage each of them to take the required steps to total freedom.

Ultimately then, we all have the same life-purpose…to heal ourselves by finding our joy and then sharing that joy to inspire others. Such is the process of evolution, onward and upward we go….

It is the art of manifesting your deepest desires through a divine connection with Source and the deliberate use of the Sacred Universal Laws by maintaining a frequency of love, joy and gratitude to attract the reality where miracles become common place. Make This Your Most Productive Year Ever - 26 Tips

Saturday, December 30th, 2006

Each year we start the year thinking about our goals, our job, our health, all the ‘new’ routines and commitments we make to ourself to make this our best year yet… but two weeks into January all our planning and resolution goes out the window! You can make this your best year ever by applying some of these simple ideas (and re-reading this article each year to keep you on track.

Make a date. Make time in your diary to find a quiet, comfortable location to set your goals. I spend a morning at my favourite table in the tearoom of the Sheraton on the Park (a beautiful hotel in Sydney city) in January every year to review my goals and set new ones for the year ahead.

No more New Year’s Resolutions! Instead, focus on creating realistic goals for all areas of your life – I call these your top 5.

Take five. Create five categories for which to set goals: physical, educational, spiritual, financial, and relational. By setting goals for each of these areas of your life, you will be taking a balanced approach and not neglecting any important aspects of your life.

Write it. You must write your goals down – it makes them more powerful. Use positive language – words like “I will” and “I am” – this will help you to feel as though you have already achieved your goals and to change your behaviors accordingly, for example, “I am going to the gym three times per week”. Make sure you allocate a specific timeframe for the completion of each goal, for example, “By the beginning of March, I am going to the gym three times per week”. Now, identify a reward for achieving each goal – don’t just make a list of rewards, relate a specific reward to the achievement of a specific goal. This will inspire you even more toward the achievement of your goal. And finally, list the possible obstacles that will get in the way of you achieving each goal, and how you will overcome these. This will help you to pre-empt the things that might go wrong and immediately swing into action with your solution, rather than giving up on your goal.

Review constantly. I have been told that the difference between a millionaire and a billionaire is that a billionaire reads their goals twice a day. Simple really. I keep a copy of my goals in several locations around my house (on the bathroom mirror, on the printer, outside the shower screen, on the fridge, on my bedside table and in my wallet), which makes it easy for me to see my goals and be reminded of what I am working towards several times a day.

Use it or lose it! I recently read – people who spend a thousand dollars or more each year on their personal development will increase their business by 20 percent. Read more books, attend workshops, find a new networking group, listen to tapes or CDs in your car, do online courses or enrol at college or university. Keep your brain active.

Make time. Eliminate time-robbers from your day – make a list of all the things you do that rob you of your time, such as watching too much TV, running errands inefficiently, checking and responding to your email too often, making long phone calls, waiting in traffic and even other people. Focus on controlling your time – organising your day efficiently and getting rid of the things in your life that are not a high priority.

Update your Resume. Make an appointment with yourself for one hour to update your resume. Be prepared. You never know when that job of your dreams might come along or if an internal opportunity becomes available.

Create a paperless desk. Remove all paperwork from your desk: establish files for your projects; reference folders for information you need to access regularly; a reading file for articles, reports, journals and FYI documents; and a daily-file for administrative, miscellaneous and day-specific tasks, and keep these on shelves or in drawers.

Out of sight, out of mind. Remove your in-tray from your desk or get rid of it all together if you can! Keep it out of sight so the contents don’t distract you and so that people don’t drop new items into it without you noticing.

Hang a ‘Do Not Disturb’ sign. If you have an actual office with a door, this one is easy. But many workplaces today are open plan and it’s difficult to alert people to the fact that you don’t wish to be interrupted – but there are ways around it. I know one workplace where each person has an item (in this case, a toy frog) which when placed on top of their computer means that they are not available – that they are trying to concentrate on something. When the frog comes down, everyone knows they are available again. With the agreement of everyone in the team, this system works particularly well for an open plan environment. Another technique is to use headphones – when people see you have headphones on they know you are not tuned-in to what’s happening around you – you don’t even have to be listening to anything if you find that too distracting – just put your headphones on to signal your ‘do not disturb’ request.

Book a daily meeting with yourself. Block-out the first 60-minutes in your diary or calendar every day. Treat it as a standing commitment and protect it from being eaten into by other people’s meeting requests. Overtime, people will learn that you are not available until a certain time (which will vary depending on when you schedule your 60-minutes) and they’ll work around you.

Unplug. Schedule one TV-free night each week. Switch off the set and instead listen to your favourite music, play a board or card game, read a book, enjoy a quiet meal by candle light (alone or with someone whose company you love), go on a date or soak in a bath. Start being aware of your television viewing habits and make a point of only watching programs that you truly enjoy and stop wasting precious time in front of the TV.

Manage your reading. Create a reading file and put it in your briefcase. If you don’t already have one, start a reading file and carry it with you on your way home. You can get through a surprising amount of reading while on public transport to and from work and while waiting in queues.

VIPs Only. Surround yourself with VIPs (Very Inspiring People) and eliminate VDPs (Very Draining People). Spending more time with VIPs will inspire, motivate and invigorate you. Minimise your time with the VDPs in your life. It can be difficult to make the switch – be strict with yourself and you’ll reap the rewards of being among the VIP crowd.

Where are you going next? Plan your next holiday, even if you’re already on one! Block-out your holidays and short breaks at the beginning of each year. By scheduling and planning for your holidays in advance you’ll not only have something to look forward to but you’ll have a much better chance of avoiding the usual pre-holiday stress which comes with trying to complete everything before you go – and much less chance of neglecting to take those much-needed breaks.

Find a mentor. When you identify the person you believe would be a suitable mentor, spend some time watching them in action. Ask around to find out what other people’s opinion of your chosen mentor are and find out all you can about their achievements, beliefs, values and way of operating. This will give you insight into them before you approach them about mentoring you.

Leave a detailed message. Whether it is voicemail or with the person who does answer the phone. Make sure you include the time and date you called, a brief mention of what you are calling about and how and when they can contact you. If you are going to be difficult to catch or have scheduled some time during which you won’t be taking phone calls yourself, by leaving a contact time you can avoid a frustrating game of ‘phone tag’.

Schedule email time. Email messages popping into your inbox all day long can be an enormous distraction, particularly if your email is set to alert you every time new mail arrives. To check in on your emails and respond to them as they arrive not only distracts you from whatever tasks or projects you are working on but can rob you of an entire day, responding to other people’s needs while your own are neglected. Schedule a couple or a few times each day to check and respond to emails rather than constantly looking-in on your inbox or being bounced there by your email program with every new message.

Your signature. Use your email program to create an email signature block that will automatically attach to all of your outgoing messages; it’s a little like an email letterhead. It saves you the effort of including your contact information every time and brings a professional touch to your communications. You might simply include your name, business name, contact details and website or you might also include a sentence or two about your business, a special promotion you are running with a link to your website, or even a favourite funny or inspirational quote.

Spelll chceck. Email makes each one of us an instant author – and, that’s not necessarily a good thing! Always, always re-read your emails before you send them to make sure they make sense and to fix any spelling or grammatical errors. I recommend you set your email to automatically spell-check every message before it is sent. And if you need a second opinion to check for clarity, tone or correctness, ask a colleague to look over it for you. It might be inconsequential to you, but a poorly worded email that conveys the wrong tone and is riddled with spelling and grammatical errors can destroy your creditability and relationships.

Spring clean. Schedule time to clean out your email regularly, once a month should be enough to keep you on top of it. Empty your deleted items and any unnecessary sent items, and go through any completed project or task folders and ensure that anything you are keeping is essential to your records. Cleaning out your email will ensure you are managing your email files and disk space effectively.

Set up systems. When using filing cabinets, decide how you will allocate your space to make it easiest to locate your files: for example, rather than mixing all your files together you might decide to keep current customer files in one drawer and potential customer files and marketing information in a separate drawer, or you might choose to store current projects in one drawer and research and reference information in another, or you might decide to file everything in alphabetical order – you get the idea – look at the type of files you have and decide how to logically divide them into categories. Then, label the front of each drawer with the type of files it contains.

Colour it. Use colour coding to further systemise your files and to enable you to identify different types of files at a glance. Choose a range of coloured manila folders and allocate a different colour to use for different file types: for example, blue for customer files, purple for staff files, pink for project files and so on. Make a reference list of what each colour represents until you are familiar with your system.

Create a confidence journal. We don’t all feel confident every day and sometimes it helps to take note of our feelings and how situations affect us. By writing down how you feel each day in a confidence journal you can track your responses to situations and also identify areas of your like you might need some help with. Just do this for 30 days and then spend an hour at the end of the month assessing where you find your confidence gets shaken and then determine strategies to help you overcome that in future.

Wicked Promises

Saturday, December 30th, 2006

“Herod feared John, knowing him to be an upright and holy man, and kept him in custody. When he heard him speak he was very much disturbed; yet he felt the attraction of his words” (Mark 6:20).

Truth is a challenge, especially when we know that something is questionable in our lives. There is that in our hearts which recognizes nobility and goodness. It can even anger us, if that truth dares us to alter a lifestyle with which we are quite comfortable.

Herod was caught between John and Herodias and her daughter, and he chose the weak way out. Let’s admit it, we have all chosen the easier way at some time in our life. Who wants to argue with relatives or friends? But conscience tweaks, and we know we have lost a choice opportunity to witness to Truth itself.

What must Herod have thought when he realized the consequences of his cowardly act? How many times have we seen heads roll because we simply didn’t want to face facts and the truth of a situation? It’s noteworthy that Herod had kept John in custody. He even listened to John tell him of his faults. But still John lost his head for his honesty!

Surely one of the lessons here is our quickness to make promises, without considering the consequences. To make matters exceedingly worse, Herod made the promise in front of those whose respect he craved.

The following is good advice from H.W. Beecher:

Conditions of promise keeping:

Must a man, then, always keep a promise? I say, No. Let us look at some of the conditions.

1. A promise of that which in itself is impossible, I need not say, a man cannot fulfill. It is the making of such a promise that is a sin.

2. When the fulfillment of a promise is rendered impossible by the happening of subsequent events, a man who makes it is released from fulfilling that promise — at any rate, so far as those events hinder him from fulfilling it. Where a man promises to settle upon his son-in-law a certain stipulated amount in case of the uniting of his daughter in marriage to him, if, when the occasion comes, the father-in-law is bankrupt, how can he fulfill his promise? Circumstances have changed. His power to fulfill his promise is gone.

3. When the thing promised is contrary to the law of the land it is void.

4. Where a promise is made which involves a violation of morality, or the laws of God, no man has the right to keep it. And this is exactly the case that Herod found himself in. He was a fool to make the promise; he was a demon to fulfill it.

Everything we do, every movement we make, everything we say, sends out energy. This energy goes out into the Universe and brings like energy back to us. If this energy is not directed in a specific
direction, it brings back to us lost car keys, flat tires, money losses, etc. So to correct this it is necessary to give a specific purpose to the energy.

It is important that this be done in writing, because it is important to keep it
and make adjustments as necessary. Be very specific what you ask for and make
very sure it is REALLY what you want. I suggest starting out with just a few
items, and adding to it over time, otherwise you could bring in too many changes
at one time. These are some suggestions of things to use:

Every time I move my arm brings back to me ______________.
Each breath I take brings back to me _________________.
Each step I take brings back to me ________________.

And, this can go on and on. What do you want to manifest? A new car? Be very
specific what kind of car, new or used, what color, etc. Do you want a
relationship with Bob or Susy? Or do you really want a relationship with someone
who makes you feel certain ways, or someone who treats you a certain way? Be
very specific. Do you want money? Don’t limit yourself by placing a specific
amount. Leave it open so Spirit can send you much more than you need. Ask
yourself what you want, then define it to what you REALLY want. And be careful
what you ask for because you will get it.

Within three months, you will notice a big difference in your life. There won’t
be as many lost car keys or flat tires. As something is manifested, take it off
of your list and replace it with something else. If within three months,
something has not manifested, ask yourself if it is really something you want Do
you need to define it better? Is it something you feel you deserve? Is it just
something that is going to take a while to manifest?

I check mine every month on full moon. I now have several pages, down to ‘Every
time a cell oxidizes…’ Each full moon, I look over it and make any changes I
feel are necessary.

This is a very powerful manifestation technique. Good luck with it.
