Fear God and Give Glory to Him, for the Hour of His judgment has Come - Revelation 14:6-7

Revelation 14:6-7 (New King James Version)

6 Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people— 7 saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”

Gabriel says:

I stand at the foot of the Master and do His bidding, and am His loyal servant and worship the Almighty God. From time to time I am dispatched to earth on an assignment with an important message. Today on November 20, 2006 I am on earth and sitting with a mere prophet and in my hands I have a scroll that I am going to read to him, and he is going to type, and he is going to upload onto the internet site that he posts his teachings and his prophecies.

This message one day will be seen by the tribes and the nations, and one day this little prophet will be a world figure and the times of Judgement would have already been in progress, yet this letter will be in here for all time, for people to read.

Time has run out.

It is time to serve God or Mammon.

It is time to cease from sin.

It is time to sell, sell, sell.

It is time that the Lord Jesus is going to start to vomit out the lukewarm church.

It is time for the church to suffer.

It is time for the Harlot to suffer.

It is time for people to repent.

For this time has come.

Revelation 11:18 (New King James Version)

18 The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come,

And the time of the dead, that they should be judged,

And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints,

And those who fear Your name, small and great,

And should destroy those who destroy the earth.”

18 The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come

In coming days and years the nations are going to rage as My Master pours out His wrath on the earth. We are going to take family, friends, wealth and health from people. Everything you hold dear will be taken from you. If you have anything that is more precious then Jesus in your life, it will be taken from you.

Very soon a flu virus will sweep the world that will take 600 million lives on the low side, and 1 billion lives on the high side. If you are in unconfessed sin at that time you are in grave danger.

And the time of the dead, that they should be judged

The great throne judgment is close. Many of you are goats and not true sheep, you need to sell and repent and sow into the poor nations for the harvest. If you have doubts that an angel is speaking and you don’t have a witness in your spirit, you need to take this to someone anointed and get a confirmation. Many will call the Master Lord Lord, in that day and He will say depart from me, those of you who practice lawlessness. And sin is lawlessness. Therefore stop sinning.

And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints

Many saints are starving and dying in the third world. They have never had food or wealth, and many of the true prophets on earth are shunned and locked in mental wards for warning churches. The prophets are soon to be raised up and any true prophet will know it’s me speaking here and will contact this prophet with no fear.

And those who fear Your name, small and great

There exists little fear of the Master and Lord Jehovah on earth. Something us angels are going to change as we come to earth to destroy human life. And why shouldn’t we? You allow Africa to starve and die of Aids. Now we are going to take innocent life in the West. We are going to set our faces against money, wealth and prosperity and destroy the stock market and banks and the value of money, and especially the mighty United States dollar. Our Master will not turn His back and He already is on the white horse coming to war with earth.

There is no way to save yourself but pray an hour a day, read the Word an hour a day and sow money for Bibles into the third world.

The light is going to fade, the Spirit is going to stop bringing His voice and the anointing is going to leave the churches. The Master is full of wrath and only has mercy for the merciful.

Repent therefore and change

And should destroy those who destroy the earth.
Mankind who is set on making more money and wealth is going to suffer at the hands of Jehovah. No more will big multi nationals have the power, and no more will superpowers be super powerful.
The two witnesses will wage war on the earth and like Pharaoh verses Moses, the great world and it’s leaders are going to lose. The two witnesses are living and bold and ready to strike the earth.
They know Me personally, and know all the mighty angels of heaven and the Master Jesus Christ.
They won’t be preached to.
They won’t back down.
They will fight for the poor.
They will preach the everlasting Gospel with no fear of mankind.
You can arrest them, you can lock them in prisons, you can shoot them, but nothing will stop them.
They have faith enough to stop the world’s economy.

They have Power enough to turn the West coast of America into blood, if the modern President does not obey their commands, and as a terrorist they will not be obeyed will they?
It’s time to fear God.

I am the Lord’s messenger. This is a short warning. You need to share this warning, print this warning, read the Bible, pray more and send Bibles to the third world.

Watch television and my Master will soon put on some graphic entertainment for you.
Stop playing church, and cry and fast and stop sinning.

I am Gabriel, the head messenger and you have seen a partial fulfilment of Revelation 14:6-7.
The prophet who typed it is Matthew Robert Payne, and He is one like unto Moses.

Take action therefore.

If the whole world of friends that you know does not get this warning, it was not our fault, it was yours.
Fear God, and cry for His mercy, times are going to get very dark.
Love
The Father Jehovah, through My angel Gabriel.

Destroy Your Patterns of Fear and Anxiety

Sunday, April 30th, 2006

Our lives are never going to get better than they are right now. It might for a moment seem better (i.e. a raise in pay, a great night of passion, winning a game, a public acknowledgment, a child succeeding at something, donating to a cause that we believe in). Any of these will make us smile or swell with pride in the moment.

That same moment can easily be replaced by a sensation of failure by getting fired, divorcing or fighting with a loved one, public ridicule, our kids hurting themselves or making bad decisions, sleeping in on Sunday instead of attending worship, eating that piece of chocolate cake. Any of these can pull us immediately below the line of feeling temporarily “OK”.

The baseline or consistent level that we experience life doesn’t change that much for most people from the time they turn 16 to the time they pass away. Someone who is constantly complaining and frustrated, pretty much stays that way forever. On the other hand, there is always that person who never gets sad and is always eager to help. This person also remains this way their whole life.

“You may feel like dwelling on your limits or your fears. Don’t do it. A perfect prescription for a squandered, unfulfilled life is to accommodate self-defeating feelings while undercutting your finest, most productive ones.”—Marsha Sinetar

So Jason, are we destined or doomed to repeat today the experience of yesterday?

Are we living in a cosmic Groundhog Day?

The answer is yes. Yes, most people live a broken record repeating over and over again the pain of yesterday, utilizing all our energy and magic to recreate a reality that may allow us to survive, but will never satisfy the deep unquenchable cry of our soul to do and become more!

We all know the excuses: “But I’m OK.” “We should be happy with what we have.” “It’s just the way I am.” “I have to make ends meet.” And my all time favorite: “I’ll do it later.”

These phrases are the tomb inscriptions for the people who wasted their precious time on this earth while languishing and wallowing in an existence of fear and excuses. Give me one person — man or woman — of any race, nationality or age that understands this one fact or statement: We are all artists. The lives we have painted can always be better. And if we don’t like it then the only thing that will ever change the pattern is DOING something different, CHOOSING a new approach and, most importantly, ACTING according to our new choice of who we can and who we want to become, and I will show you someone who will affect the history of his or her world.

How often should we change the approach? Until we achieve the desired outcome.

“When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid.”—Audre Lorde

Most of us get frustrated with how much we have to change. In reality, all we need to do is let go of who we are trying to please — parents, spouses, families, society, and our own expectations. Instead, allow who we really are to shine through. Then, and only then, will we truly be free. Imagine for a moment that you embrace this freedom without the fear of the masses; that you step outside of the realm of everyone else’s expectations for your life. Then truly live a life of passion and purpose that exposes and fulfills your very being. Feel that truth, hear what you would hear then and witness the life that you have touched only in your dreams. Follow your calling without the fear of what may happen. Understand deep down that if you are truly serving your heart and soul’s desire, that there will never be a want for food, clothing or shelter. Your dedication to a life without fear will forever be your protection.

Who you are is light, love and happiness. All else is lies. Live truth! Live it completely and forever.

Basic Taoism Lesson One - What is the Tao, and What Does That Mean to Me? An Introduction to Taoism

Sunday, April 30th, 2006

The philosophy of Taoism, (pronounced Dow-ism) founded in ancient times by an elusive figure known only as Lao-Tzu (The Old Teacher), holds the key to helping us get rid of the stress in our everyday lives. Taoists throughout Asian history have made a huge impact on the countries they lived in and the lives they touched. They were and are renowned for their ability to triumph over difficult situations without buckling and for their ability to create wholesome and stress-free lifestyles for themselves.

In this preliminary lesson, we’ll be looking at what the Tao of Taoism is, and how we can try to understand it. This will build the foundation of your further introduction to Taoism. The word Tao means “Way,” with a capital W. It signifies the understanding that there is a Great Way to the workings of the universe. Many people take this to mean a belief in predestination or fate, but this isn’t exactly correct. This Great Way is best imagined as a wide river flowing to the sea. Throughout the river are different sorts of flows – fast, strong, weak, eddying, crashing waterfalls. Does the water choose these flows? Does it choose where it will eddy, and how, and for how long? No, of course it doesn’t. It just is.

The flow of the river, from the day the first hints of a river appeared in that place to the time we encounter it as the wide and powerful thing it is today, has not been designed by the river. Like this river, the Great Way, the Tao, is an organic flow to all of the energy and life in the universe. For the most part, it is a subtle undercurrent, moving slowly along beneath all things. It is certainly possible to swim upstream in a slow current and successfully make it to wherever you are headed without being swept away. You will certainly be conscious of the energy you use up swimming against the current. If you were to pit yourself against that slow river and try to swim upstream, against the current, you would need superhuman endurance to go very far, for the river does not tire or even TRY to move you. Even superhuman endurance is weak in comparison to the power of the slow steady river. The Tao can be thought of as a river of life. All living things exist in and are part of the Tao, part of a greater whole. Individual organisms are all part of the ebb and flow of life within the Tao.

Think of yourself as a swimmer in the great river. If you strive against the current to move around, you will greatly increase the difficulty of getting to your goal. This is not to say that you should just float along, since that would be leaving everything to chance – the river doesn’t know where it is taking you; it doesn’t even know that it is taking you. The more you fight the flow, the more tired you become. Now that you know this, you can begin to observe it as it happens in your life. Through the rest of my lessons, we’re going to explore the ways that you can use this Taoist look at the universe to change your life and make it how you want it to be.

Positions in Time Management

Sunday, April 30th, 2006

What are our positions in time management? Time management is the process of planning to reach a goal, and finding a solution that helps us to reach that goal. This article should be relatively short, since the words above should be more than obvious. YOU are the main position in time management. However, we must consider all positions in time management to construct a plan that works best for you. Every one of us has a deadline to meet a specific task (s).

Your position then is to get those tasks finished, bring in you one-step closer to your goal. If you are wasting time sifting through papers, or daydreaming, you are wasting energy, money and time that could be spent in your time management plan to achieve your goal. After carefully study clutter, I estimated it takes around 10-15 minutes to clean up the desk, while it takes about 30 minutes to find papers that are important to achieving goals.

Sloppiness is a sign of irresponsibility, and it only wastes time, promotes negative thinking, and costs money. If you work at a desk, and most of your tasks are handled on a computer, then it takes a few minutes to backup your data and store it in a safe place. It takes years to recover what you have not backed up. In addition, if you are labeling your files accurately it takes less time to find a file in demand, and takes longer to find the file that was incorrectly labeled.

Are you spending quality time with your family, or is your time idling? One hour of your time each day can save you money and time. If you are not spending quality time with your family, factor in the expense of divorce, heartaches, time, and other elements when those days comes and deduct the loss in your time management scheme. In some cases, you can calculate the expenses of court costs when your children decide dad or mom is not enough, and they need attention lacking so they get major attention after committing a crime. Let reality sink in when you are diverting a plan to manage your time, reaching your goal. There are many positions in managing time, but for the most part your effort is the position that requires consistency.

School is important and a vital requirement to managing time, since it is a resource to reaching goals. When you are at school your position in this time management scheme is to DO your homework on time and study accordingly. If you are daydreaming in class, remember it is a dream toward a past that was never achieved to reach the dream. If you are procrastinating, your position is lost. Procrastination is the process of intentionally and habitually putting off responsibilities, and when we put off responsibilities our position in achieving those goals is sitting in a seat in someone else’s pocket. In addition if you are not studying to meet grades that are required in achievement, then you are saying to yourself and everyone around you that, “My position in life is to do what I can, and ignore what I want to do.”

The positions in planning to achieve a goal are requiring that you act out your plans putting strong emphasis on laboring to reach your goal. It requires the ability to manage your time while staying organized. If you are waiting for your goals to fall in your lap, remember your ship rolled in when you was out in the middle of the ocean. It takes work, effort, responsibility, motivation, and careful planning to save time and make money to reach a goal. If you do not have all these qualities then your position in life are to wait for someone else to reach your goal while you sit back wondering what happened. Your position if well thought out in your time management scheme can bring forth short-term rewards, such as motivation to achieve, great self-esteem, self-confidence, and so on. Holding your position in your time management scheme may even bring your goal closer than expected if you apply the actions that are needed in managing time.

Are All Of Us Cruel In Some Way?

Saturday, April 29th, 2006

The dictionary meaning of word cruel says - to make someone suffer or to give pain to someone. Are all of us cruel in our own ways? Some of us are more than others, but is cruelty a part of every personality?

Let us look at it from the other side? Don’t we all feel that many times our friends, family and even the people dearest to us act in ways that hurt us? Sometimes, we tell them about it, and sometimes we ignore. But is it not true that all those who relate with us closely at some point in our life, hurt us? The hurt may not be by a deed. It can be words spoken harshly. It can be misunderstanding our motives and giving them different color. It can be accusing us for no fault of ours. Or it can be simply not trying to understand us. All these actions hurt us. Don’t we think at that time that if the other party had been more understanding, we would have felt more comfortable?

Cruelty does not escape even the most loving mothers. When a mother is tense and tired, many times, she lets her child cry for milk for sometime ignoring the cries and rather cursing the child of hunger at all the times. The child does not understand any of his/her mother’s problems, but only wants to be fed. It is not the child’s mistake, but he /she is hurt. Why? Husbands knowingly not trying to help their wives in household chores, wives knowing all about husband’s career problems still blaming him for small mistakes, children in a class room, targeting a child for a physical quality, and so on. Are all these not parts of a cruel nature?

Companies not responding immediately to consumer’s problems, consumers hammering the companies for smallest faults, lawsuits being filed for trivial matters, students made to slog in the schools to get higher marks at the cost of their childhood, politicians accusing each other of crimes never committed, and so many other such instances that can be cited to prove that somewhere in our life, we begin losing our compassion. Sadly, in most of the cases, we are not aware of our cruelty. We become aware of it only when we are targeted. Don’t you agree that the world is slowly becoming a cruel world?

Be Positive - Think Positive - Be A Winner - Mould The Champion In You - Power Of Positive Thinking

Saturday, April 29th, 2006

Do you know that you can gain success over any difficult situation in your life by thinking positive?

Yes you can…

The main reason that you fail in what you do is because of that negative mind set that holds you from behind. Think Positive.

When you fail in something you do, this is what actually happens - Way deep inside your mind, somewhere in your subconscious you will have a negative feeling which says you can’t do it or you can’t win over that situation or say you can’t hold that much or you can’t beat him/her or you are going to fail, that’s what makes you fail.

Thinking positive and being positive in your life can earn you a lot. Imagine a life where you are the all time champion, where you always win what you do, where there is no failure, where you are well respected in your society, fame, people trying to copy your success…

Ha ha what a dream… you might think its a dream that wont ever happen but I tell you that its all possible when you sort out the negative and think positive in your life.

What if I say I can show you real life examples of people who are successful in whatever they do because of their positive attitude. Yes I can, read on…

The best example I can show you is none other than the Now California Governor, The Hollywood Super Star, The Body Building Champion what a great titles… Now you know who he is… Yea none other than Arnold Schwarzenegger. You can see from the exclamatory titles itself that what a big champion Arnold is. Whatever things he jumped in to, he came up with flying colours… See what Arnold says about being positive - From his own words in his documentary video about Arnold training and preparing to win the MR. Olympia Contest, 7th Time:-

“If you want to be a champion, you cannot have any kind of an outside negative force coming in and affect you… Lets say before the contest if I get emotionally involved with the girl, that can have a negative effect on my mind. So therefore I have to cut my emotions off and be kind of cold in the way before competition. That’s what we do then with the rest of the things. If somebody steals my car outside of my door right now, I don’t care, I can’t be bothered with that, the only thing i would do is I would ask my secretary to call the insurance agency and laugh about it because I cannot be bothered with it. So i trained myself for that to be totally cold and not have the things go in to my mind and it was in that way I said the story when my father died because my mother called me on the phone and she said your father is dead and this was exactly two months before the contest. She said to come home for the funeral & i said no, Its too late, he’s dead and there is nothing to be done and am sorry i can’t come, and I didn’t explain to her really the reasons why and i gave other excuses to her because I’ll be explaining to a mother whose husband died, you know you are tripped. I didn’t bother with it and that actually caused one of the greatest conflicts with my girl friend because she just looked at me and said, it doesn’t bother you? & I never talk about it again.”

Ha no wonder he became a junior Mr. Europe when he was a boy and then became Five-time Mr. Universe and then seven-time Mr. Olympia, and Mr. World then became Hollywood Superstar and now California Governor.

One day I happened to watch a paul vault competition on TV, well I never watched paul vault sports before. What drew my attention to watch it was the great confidence and positiveness I saw on her face when she was about to do the paul vault. I didn’t even know her name actually. When the time came for her performance in the competition what I saw was a super confident face and there was applause all around and what I want to point out was that there wasn’t a slight negativeness that I can find in her face and with that kind of a confidence who wont win any competition. Guess what she won it and she won the world record for the highest jump in Paul Vault. Next day I found her name and world record on news paper. Yelena Isinbayeva world record holder for paul vault and who won the world athlete of the year for the second time on 2005. She broke her own world records many times later on paul vault.
So when you are positive in your mission inside, that positive rays will reflect not only on your face but also in what you do and you are going to overcome whatever difficult situation, however tough it may be…

I think I don’t need to give any more explanation. Hope you now know how much happiness, positive mindset can bring to your life. So are you ready to Mould The Champion In You… ?

Crossing Over

Saturday, April 29th, 2006

What awaits us as we leave the world we were born and raised in? An environment that has taught us everything we know. The topic of death is topic that can be debated for hours on end. The question many of ask is, “what awaits us on the other side?” Hundreds of books have been written many have debated with skepticism. And for the many people who have experienced near death experiences.

They have claimed that these moments they spent near death were the most peaceful, warm and wonderful moments of their life. Many have said that those moments cannot be describable with words. It goes beyond words. Many have claimed that they saw a light. Some say they saw people who they loved who died stand before them in the moments they were near death. I ask you.

Is their a better place that awaits us?

A place with peace, with love, a place where no evil exists, just endless love, a place where there is only harmony, where the concept of pain does not exist. Most of us fear death. I know I do, but as I write this piece to you and think about what many have described, “the crossing over” to be like then my mind begin to wonders and my fear begins to slowly disintegrate because if there is a wonderful place that awaits when we cross over then maybe death isn’t so bad and maybe we shouldn’t be so feared or saddened by death. And for the people who believe that once you die your life is over and that’s it. Well, I would like to ask you if the miracle of birth exists, if a woman can conceive a life (the wonderful elements and characteristics that a person has), the ability to grow, to live, to learn and to love, and the ability to reproduce life over and over again.

How was all these wonderful things created for us? Who created them? Where did they create them? Is there another place beside this world? If you look around and think for a second, “how did air we breathe we breathe get here?” The ability to smell, see and understand and create the things that bring the happiness in our lives? And look at our bodies, the changes in ourselves as each year passes by. Each year the pieces of life begin to fall in place and I begin to understand so many things that never made sense in my life before. And at the end when we finally put the puzzle together it’s now time to go. Why does it take so long to put the puzzle together? And when we put the puzzle of life together where are we supposed to go with all that knowledge? Is there a reason why we’re here? Are we in training? Is there a better place waiting for us? Are we here to get rid of the evil people who fail the test and the ones who pass cross over to the heavens above.

A place that waits for us and then rewards us once we arrive. Once we pass our training will our rewards be waiting for us in the heavens? Maybe we shouldn’t use the word death, because it sounds so morbid and so final. The ones who are crossing over are going to be rewarded in a wonder place where we refer to as heaven. Their new life is just beginning.

And they aren’t leaving us. There souls cross over and they still remain in our hearts. Because when they cross over they leave their love, their cares, there memories they implanted in our souls. They leave everything wonderful about them with us. They leave a piece of themselves with us. Because where there going there is plenty of love and harmony to go around. And when they were physically with you they listened and watched over you, they cared for you, protected you, and loved you when they were here.

Why shouldn’t they love and protect you when they are there in the heavens?

In loving memory of Rose Mann who is being rewarded as she crosses over. Isaiah 57:2 Those who walk uprightly enter into peace; they find rest as they lie in death.

Any Experience Can Change Your Life

Saturday, April 29th, 2006

I have read in many different cultural and religious texts not to take any moment in life for granted, as all experiences can be opportunities to learn about yourself and the world around you. Recently I went on a trip to Melbourne, Australia and while I was there I had two very memorable experiences, both in restaurants. I love going out to eat anyway, but these two events were both what I believe to be extraordinary, as neither had ever happened in my life previously. Let me tell you a little about what went on in this strange place we call planet Earth.

The first restaurant I went to was with my brother and was called ‘Lentil As Anything’ (www.lentilasanything.com), which is a play on words based on an old Australian rock band called ‘Mental As Anything’. All the food is vegetarian, which is great for me as for seven years I have fit into this classification, although I’ve started to eat fish recently for health reasons. The thing that shocked me here was that the menu had no prices. On the back of the menu were the words, ‘Pay what you feel’, then the owners went on to tell you the ideas behind this concept. In the same vein as the Hindu belief of karma the patron is urged to give equally in monetary value what they feel the meal is worth to them. I think the main idea is that they want to create a more traditional human relationship with customers instead of a purely capitalist consumerism type of connection. Much of our society has shifted to a focus on the acquisition of money as of ultimate importance, and interaction between people is relegated to being simply a ‘meaningless’ transaction.

Well you probably want to ask me, ‘How long has this restaurant existed? Do they make a profit?’ The answers are: The restaurant has been around for years, and as they have opened a second storefront in a separate location, I ‘d have to believe that they are doing just fine. I ate an entrée of breads and dips which was very tasty, followed by the best lentil burger I’ve ever had in my life (I’ve had many), and I drank a chai tea which unfortunately wasn’t very good that day. When I went to pay, a lot of questions entered my mind like, ‘How much should I pay? Should I give a lot so I’m not perceived as being a Scrooge? Could I pretend that I haven’t got much money? Do homeless people come in here to get a free meal? The realization I had after I paid was that in this age-old trading process one’s conscience is tested. You want to walk away from the experience happy, and you would like for the restaurant owners to feel that they got their fair amount for their services. A feeling of trust, respect, and unity is given to this relationship, where you might even feel that your honor is being tested. This is altogether a very different human connection when compared to many modern fast-food ideologies that are pervading our local environment.

In my last article entitled, “The power of meals’ I emphasized the importance of what we eat, how and whom we eat with, and even the relevance of how the person who was cooking the food felt emotionally. In a consumer situation should any of these factors become irrelevant? Eating is one of the few imperative actions that every human must do if they want to exist in our world. Why not make the experience as sacred as all the other important rituals and beliefs that we partake in?

The second amazing restaurant experience I had was at a place called, ‘Moroccan Soup Bar’ (Check reviews on Google). They also serve a vegetarian-only cuisine menu, which after going back to several times is easily one of the tastiest I have ever eaten in my life. Back when I used to eat meat everyday I thought that vegetables were boring, boy was I wrong! The textures, vast array of flavors, and multiple ingredients are tantalizing to all taste buds that I have taken with me to share in this ‘holy’ experience.

The particular evening in question saw my girlfriend and I arriving late and subsequently being the last people eating. Earlier on in the night the owner, an Islamic woman, had sat down at the table next to us with a few customers who were obviously regulars or friends. When she mentioned the film, ‘What the bleep do we know?’ I had to interject, as I felt I was one of the few people around who saw the film and had also thought the movie to be quite interesting. She was saying that not many people were in the theater compared to the mainstream stories like ‘Batman’ or ‘Star Wars’ and was wondering why more weren’t interested in real life as opposed to human created narratives. At the end of the night she came and sat down at our table to discuss what we did and didn’t like about the film.

The conversation flowed naturally about aspects of life such as science, spirituality, religion, and human relationships. She said that earlier that day she had gone on an excursion with a group of Islamic women and Jewish women to a Mikvah (a Jewish women’s’ bathing ritual), which she had organized. She said that at first the Islamic group were quite reluctant to go, but after they had went and met the Jewish women, none of either group wanted to leave. They’d all enjoyed the connection so much that the Jewish women were planning to visit the Islamic group at one of their religious ceremonies. Of course I thought this was great given the turbulent political climate in Israel and Palestine.

I haven’t even gotten to the really cool part of the story yet. When I went up to pay for the meal I gave the woman the thirty dollars (very cheap for the quality and quantity of the food) and she handed me back fifteen bucks. Quite surprised, she then went on to tell me that on some nights she would give patrons half of the price of the meal back if they would do her a little favor. I asked her what it was and she told me that I would have to give the money to someone who I felt really needed or deserved it. This just blew both my girlfriend’s and my own minds! The lady said that she believed 90% of the people went through with this generous task, and that she simply hoped that it might affect some of our beliefs about humanity and the interrelatedness of all people on planet Earth.

My girlfriend and I have been contemplating child sponsorship for a while so we took the fifteen dollars and used it towards our first monthly payment to Plan International www.plan-international.org. It just proves how powerful one humble, anonymous person can be in making a difference to the world, as well as to people’s perceptions of reality. It is true that every moment is a chance to learn from what’s around us in the world, as well as an opportunity to share knowledge with others by incorporating our new beliefs into our own actions and behaviors.

Mapping Midlife – Adultescence?

Friday, April 28th, 2006

OK. You’ve reached 50 now and are reading everywhere that this is a whole new life stage. It’s been referred to as a Second Adulthood or Second Act or the Bonus Decades. What does all this mean and why are we having so much trouble making sense of it?

The simplest answer is that our parents and grandparents really never spent any time thinking about how their lives might be different as they aged. The grew up, got married, had children, maybe retired, had grandchildren, and never thought much about how they felt about all of it. They just were. They just did. The Boomers and the tail end of the pre-boomers are different, though. You’ve spent your whole lives thinking about who you are and about your place in the world. We may need to create new terms – Third Adulthood, maybe – when this group reaches 90, as an increasing number will.

For now, I’ve decided to call this deep re-thinking at somewhere between 40 and 60 adultescence. Why? Because, as you’ll soon see, the similarities to adolescence are so strong.

The two halves of life have different agendas. The first half of life focuses on the development of a personality and building a sense of yourself which is the ego. In other words, as an adolescent, you were focused on being somehow different than the rest of the pack, while somehow still blending in. This might have meant having the shortest skirt or the brightest chartreuse hair or the most ragged jeans. As an adultescent, you want the same thing. This might mean the best cosmetic surgery or the latest trendy car or the best golf clubs.

Adolescence involves differentiation of skills and abilities so you can be all that you can be. You drove everyone crazy with new passions – become a drummer; save the environment; pick the perfect subject as a major; take part in protests; listen to the Stones. The second half of life involves integration or the pulling of all the disparate parts back together to make a unified whole. Actually, nothing has changed. Review the list above. Well, some of the Stones are grayer and the Beatles will never reunite.

Romance is new to adolescents. Countless hours are spent trying to look good. You are trying to figure out how to be a couple. You hang on the phone comparing notes with your friends. Nothing new here for the adultescent either. If you’ve stayed married, you’re trying to figure out how to be as a couple suddenly in the same space at the same time. My aunt used to quote an old truism: I married him for better or for worse, but not for lunch.” If you are suddenly single, you hang on your cell phone or IM, comparing notes with your friends. Countless dollars are spent trying to look good.

An adolescent’s body is changing all the time. Adultescent? Yours is too. Adolescents have blemishes. Adultescents have liver spots. Adolescents have growing pains. Adultescents have joint pain. Both groups are always watching their weight.

Adolescents often are known by their possessions – first car, phone, computer and ipod (alright, so for some of you it was a typewriter and a stereo), trendy clothes. Adultescents are equally busy racking up toys – new sports car or Hummer, cell phone, ipod, Blackberry, laptop.

Adolescents tend to travel in packs. Adolescents think they’ll never grow up. And Adultescents? No need to comment.

So, you see, everything old is new again. You survived adolescence. You’ll survive this too. You already know how to do this. The biggest difference is that you finally can do it all over again knowing what you know now. Have no regrets – move forward bravely. You can become a whole different second adult than the person you were as a first adult, or you can be exactly the same but richer, deeper and happier.

Enjoy the ride!

Applying The Secret - Part 5 - Defining Your Purpose, Vision And 7 Steps For Setting Goals

Friday, April 28th, 2006

You can define your purpose by looking at your talents and the special gifts that have. Your purpose is the reason why you are here. Your purpose gives your life direction and meaning. Your purpose may be to be the best parent you possibly can for your children, or it may be to teach or heal others, whatever it is it defines who you are inside. If you can’t determine your purpose, everything else is wrong. You’re not sure which direction you’re headed, so you are just wandering around aimlessly.

Your purpose should be something you really love to do. Don’t think that if you have a special talent you may not be able to make money from it. You can make money doing anything if you know and believe that you can do it well. Don’t settle for the safe bet – what you can do, which will surely earn you money. This is the easy way out and will not challenge you. You should do what you really love and absolutely fall in love with that idea. Then go for it!

If you fall in love with an idea, your conscious and subconscious minds are resonating (they are in sync with each other). We have already learnt that what you think creates your vibration which causes actions and reactions. So it is important that your purpose is something you love. If you truly love an idea, it will guide you… you don’t have to guide it.

When you are in love with your purpose, it will keep you highly motivated and eager to continue working towards it. You will find a hidden ambition driving you. Time will pass so fast without you noticing it and you will never have enough hours in the day to do it. You will feel like you can continue doing it all night long.

Purpose gives meaning to why you are doing what you are doing. You need to get past the negatives to find your truth. Really figure out for yourself what you are good at, regardless of what others might think. Keep in mind that negative images (aka old limiting paradigms) have been influencing you from shortly after you were born. Remember that everyone has failed in life, but it is not really that we have failed; it is more like we have not been in harmony with what we were trying to achieve.

You are a unique individual with your own particular strengths and talents. If you can focus on your strengths that come to you in perfect harmony, you will see the wonderful complex person you are – a uniqueness that is only within you.

Do only what YOU want to do… not what others want you to do. And once you have found your purpose, don’t let anyone else dissuade you or diminish what you are trying to achieve or to tell you how to do it. Always believe in yourself.

When you have the right purpose, you will easily develop the right vision. When you have the right vision, you will quickly recognize the right goal.

To express your purpose you need to create and maintain your vision. Your vision is the strategy behind the fulfillment of your purpose. Vision is what connects your daily goals and your lifetime purpose.

There are 3 levels of vision:

Who you want to BEWhat you want to DOWhat you want to HAVETo form your vision you must address all 3 levels, starting with ‘BE’, then ‘DO’ and finally ‘HAVE’. To do this successfully you must remove all limitations off your mind and purpose. Remember: all things are possible. Then you need to look at the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of each of the 3 levels of vision. Your vision should state what you want versus what you don’t want and should always be written in the present tense (I am / I have etc).

Your vision will appear in physical form when the necessary gestation period has elapsed and that gestation period is governed by the Law of Gender.

Whatever your purpose is, you first need to plot your course to get there. You just can’t start trying to manifest financial freedom… you need to work out the various steps and route you are going to take to get there. Set out short term goals that will lead you to your long term goal.

Follow these simple 7 steps for effective goal setting:

1. Your long term goal may be your ultimate purpose. Start with setting an annual goal.

2. Break that down to quarterly goals.

3. Once the quarterly goals are set, you can make monthly goals

4. Then weekly goals which will lead to the successful completion of your purpose.

5. Once you have a weekly goal in place, then you need to define what you are going to do tomorrow to achieve your weekly goal.

6. It is important for you to write down your schedule for tomorrow at night before you sleep. Be sure to include the necessary routine tasks you need to complete along with the actions required for the completion of your weekly goals.

7. By writing down what you are going to do tomorrow, you mind will be working on those tasks whilst you sleep. This gives you a valuable head start in the morning. On a subconscious level you will know what to do and when.

Follow this instruction every day and you will be sure to reach your ultimate purpose.

Once you have worked out what your goals are, you cannot expect them to just appear magically. You have to put in the effort and actions to make them work out. And don’t get so busy planning the actions in your vision that you end up not doing anything. This is fear in disguise. The plan does not have to be perfect, just get the basics going and the rest will follow.

Don’t confuse your purpose with your vision. As Bob Proctor once said, your purpose is what the sun is to the solar system. It does not change and it doesn’t move. Your vision and goals are the planets that revolve around your purposes perimeter.

If your goals and vision are not being achieved, it is important to know that you can stop what you are doing, re-evaluate your purpose, vision and goals and continue on. The biggest mistake you can make is ignoring your inner self telling you that you are on the wrong track. Your instincts will tell you if you are going the right way or not, so be sure to listen to them. Learn from your mistakes and keep on going.

To summarize:

You must believe that you already have what is in your vision. You should be specific and think big – remove all boundaries. Make sure your vision covers your physical, mental and spiritual needsRemember that thoughts are nourished through repetition and belief. Don’t lose sight and keep them in your mind always. If you have faith and belief in one moment, and then doubt and fear the next moment, you are only going to attract confusion and anxiety. So establish your purpose, build your vision and set your goals. Make sure you fall in love with your vision and your goals are something you really want.
