Universal Thought Systems #4

Thursday, June 30th, 2005

Before we are able to use the Universal Thought System in a positive expansive manner, we must learn to use certain words in our language more effectively. The prime characteristic of the Universal Thought System is its consistency. It may not be used to manipulate. It may not be used to gain an advantage. It treats everyone equally. It eliminates the negative side of opposites. Why is this Universal Language so critical to our progress? In our thoughts and actions, we either seek idols or we seek truth. When wefind the truth all our answers are provided. Truth contains all answers to every problem. Truth has always existed and will always exist. Our beliefs and feelings color our truth. They act as filters between our truth and our illusions.

If absolute truth is discovered, the filters disappear. In truth there is only love. In love there is only truth. There is no need for filters. The use of keywords help to reveal the path to truth. They clear the filters. They clarify our perceptions. They reduce the effects of our illusions. We discover peace and joy. What are some of the keywords that make up our Universal Thought System Language? In a series of ezines we will list and define some of the keywords in the Universal Thought System
Language. The first words are listed and defined below:

Abundance:
If all things are one, we then all have equal access to an abundant universe. Scarcity and abundance are a case of opposites. Abundance always eliminates scarcity. However, our thoughts, beliefs, and feelings are powerful filters to its fulfillment. For instance, the belief in scarcity and the drive to obtain our share of the scarcity can be a powerful force in limiting the flow of abundance.

Vision:
Vision is a form of communication. Two forms of vision exist. One form of vision exists for each thought system. In the Individual Thought System our vision is experienced through our physical senses. In the Universal Thought System our vision is currently obscured. However, through the feedback to our Individual Thought System, we can sense the results of our inner vision.

Thoughts:
What makes all communication work for us are the thoughts that either precede the spoken word or convert our thoughts to a Universal Language of pure energy. Our thoughts form the crossroads of our lives. Thoughts create our life experience.

Within:
When we communicate within we communicate in a Universal Language. Our Words are translated to pure energy. All that we see around us is a reflection of what is going on within us. What we communicate within and what we, then, perceive outside of us completes the cycle of communication.

About Us:
Our newsletters are our means to reach out to others who are in search of basic truth. This search began almost 30 years ago with one question: How can we balance our lives? The summary of the answer to this question was compiled in a book titled ‘Creating Your Personal Journey’. The book was published in 1996. The search has continued as we adapt to a new
question: What is the truth? We are guided by the thought that,
‘The best way to learn anything is to teach it’.

How to Commit and Achieve Your Fitness Goals

Thursday, June 30th, 2005

It’s time…..you’re ready to start working out and eating right.

• You have set your fitness goals.

• You have bought the current most popular fitness guru’s book.

• You have learned the secret diet of the celebrities.

• You have thrown away all the “bad” food in your refrigerator and pantry.

• You have been to the grocery store and bought all the foods you need for the induction phase of your new diet.

• You bought an exercise ball, some weights, and a video tape

• You even bought a brand new journal and can’t wait to fill the pages with your food consumption and exercise plan each day.

You’re ready. Starting Monday you’re going to do this. This time it’s going to be different. This time it’s going to work.

Whoa…this time?

Does that mean you’ve already gone through this before?

Any one of these those things are a good idea. All of them together—-a winning combination but there’s one more step to put you in the winner’s circle.

Proverbs 16:3 Commit to the LORD whatever you do,

and your plans will succeed.

That’s the first step to success. Commit your plan to the Lord. God, in his infinite wisdom knows exactly what is best for us. Submit your plan to God and see if it lines up with his perfect will for you.
Your plan may be too extreme or even not restrictive enough. God may impress upon your heart to hire a personal trainer or call a friend to help you to be accountable.

Proverbs 16:9 In his heart a man plans his course,

but the LORD determines his steps.

You mean God can even help us lose weight and get fit?

Isn’t it wrong to ask God for something like that?

It’s so self-centered to be concerned about what kind of shape our bodies are in right?

WRONG!

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you,
whom you have received from God? You are not your own; 20you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.

Any questions? Aren’t we supposed to be good stewards of what God has blessed us with?
If we don’t know how to care of our “temples” or need help, wouldn’t it make sense to consult the Creator?

Set your goals and submit them to God. Ask for his help on how to reach your goals.
Submit your plan to God and expect success!

Psalm 20:4 May he give you the desire of your heart

and make all your plans succeed.

The Victory

Thursday, June 30th, 2005

Many people may ask what is the victory and how do you achieve it. Lets look at what the Bible says about the victory. First look at 2Corinthians 10:3 it says For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons
of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. And we will be ready to punish every act of disobedience, once your obedience is complete.

Now look at Psalm 60::11 it says Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless. With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies.

Jesus Christ says in Matthew 11:27 All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal. Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.

In the book of Philippians1:27 it says Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved—and that by God. For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for him, since you are going through the same struggle you saw I had, and now hear that I still have.

Now look at Philippians 2:1 it says If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his live, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-mined, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose.

Pressing on toward the goal. In Philippians 3:12 it says Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me. Brothers, I do consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing do; Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead. I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. All of us who are mature should take such a view of things.. And if on some point you think differently, that too God will make clear to you. Only let us live up to what we have already attained.

John with others in following my example, brothers, and take note of those who live according to the pattern we gave you. For, as I have often told you before and now say again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is on earthly things. But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, who, by the power the enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

The book of 1Thessakibuabs 2:14 says For you, brothers, became imitators of God’s churches in Judea, which are in Jesus Christ: You suffered from your own countrymen the same things those churches suffered from the Jews, who killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets and also drove us out. They displease God and are hostile to all men in their effort to keep us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved, In this way they always heap up their sins to the limit. The wrath of God has come upon them at last.

Look at 1Thessalonians 3:11 it says Now may our God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus clear the way for us to come to you. May the Lord make your love increase and overflow for each other and for everyone else, just as ours does for you. May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones.

Look at what James says about Temptations in the book of James 1:13 it says When tempted, no one should say, God is tempting me. For God cannot be tempted by evil nor does he tempt anyone; but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death. Don’t be deceived, my dear brothers. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows. He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created. We must watch the things we say, look at James 3:6 it says The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body, it corrupts the whole person, sets the whole course of his life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.

Now look at 1Peter 3:13 it says Who is going to harm you if you are eager to do good? But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear; do not be frightened. But in your hearts set apart Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander. It is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil. For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God.

Now look at 1Peter 4:1 it says Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because he who has suffered in his body is done with sin. As a result, he does not live the rest of his earthly life for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God. For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans chose to do—living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry. They think it strange that you do not plunge with them into the same flood of dissipation, and they heap abuse on you. But they will have give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to men in regard to the body, but live according to God regard to the spirit.

Look at 1Peter 5:5 Young men, in the same way be submissive to those who are older. All of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. Be self-controlled and alert. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kind of sufferings. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm, and steadfast. To him be the power for ever and ever. Amen

Now look at 1John 5:1 it says Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God, and everyone who loves the father loves his child as well. This is how we know that we love the children of God: by loving God and carrying out his commands. This is love for God: to obey his commands. And his commands are not burdensome, for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. Who is it that overcomes the world? Only he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.

In closing look at 1Corinthians 15:56 it says The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.

Love Always,
Your Sister in Christ

Who Do You Say I Am?

Thursday, June 30th, 2005

“What do you think about the Christ?” (Matthew 22:42); “But what about you? … Who do you say I am?” (Matthew 16:15).

We might paraphrase Philippians 4:8: “He is noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent and praise-worthy–think about this Person.” Freedom of thought is implied in this question about Christ. Tyrants don’t want others to think, but Christ recognizes our freedom of choice when He asks us what we understand and believe about Him.

Our own character cannot be formed until we have a clear understanding of Christ’s character. Christ calls Himself the Son of Man (Matthew 8:20). “But [he] made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness, being found in appearance as a man” (Philippians 2:7,8a). In Colossians 2:9 we read, “For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form.” So He is also the Son of God.

It is interesting that Satan discerned Christ’s divinity: “What do you want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God?” (Mark 5:7). But we earthlings are too blue-blooded to believe that Christ shed red blood to ransom us. But! “See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ” (Colossians 2:8).

What do we think of Christ? Do we think of Him less — and less of Him — when life is not what we want it to be? We will fall in love with Him only as we study His life and His mission. Then, as we learn about Him, He becomes our Anchor in the storms rather than the scapegoat on which we lay all our troubles.

What do we think of Christ as our Friend, our Messiah, our Judge, our Shepherd and our Lamb? Do we really believe that He is all things to all of us? “For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many” (Mark 10:45).

Who Makes You Better?

Wednesday, June 29th, 2005

Commit yourself to spending time only with people who are working to have a good life. Negative or lazy people will discourage you and bring you down to their level. As an old English saying goes,

“Keep company with those make you better.”

Who makes you better? In other words:

Who helps you to see what’s great about yourself?

Who motivates you to get the kind of results they achieve?

Who is truly oriented to serving other people with kindness?

Who wants to help you be successful?

Henry Ford said one of his secrets to success was to spend time only with people who brought out the best in him. And, really, why would you want to spend time with anyone who doesn’t help you to do better?

On the other hand, are you surrounded by “crabs”? Crabs are people who are not working toward the life they want and, as a result, will attempt to tear down your efforts.

Make every effort to identify and root out your
“crabs.” If you can’t remove them from your life, at least stay determined not to let them damage your self-image or deter you on your progress toward a worthwhile goal.

Mark Twain may have said it best:

“Keep away from people who try to belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great.”

Unleashing The Treasures Of The Midnight

Wednesday, June 29th, 2005

‘O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God!…’ (Romans 11:33)

‘So shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul: when thou hast found it, then there shall be a reward, and thy expectation shall not be cut off.’(Proverbs 24:14)

Every search is always a product of a need. In the same vein, every discovery is also a product of a search. In my journey on the path of greatness, I discovered seven applicable truths of life which many of us have hitherto unconsciously ignored to our ignoble damnation today.

I would list them first, before linking you to the anchor or the hub from where they derived their strength.

The springboard for fame is rooted in the darkness of the night season.

Every day has a speech to offer, but, are you listening?

Every night is pregnant with a revelation, which is the ladder for your elevation, but, are you prepared to subject and submit yourself for the noble, rigorous and mentally tasking work of a ‘midwife of the midnight season’?

The foundation of your stardom is this revelation.

Your fame is waiting for your voice, and your voice would never make world impact unless you’re first drunk and drenched with this revelatory voice of the midnight.

The rocket or vehicle for your fame is your voice, and inside your voice is your victory in the ‘battle of the gate’.

The weakness of God is in pattern, and that pattern is what every man or woman of stature and status, have applied to turn adversity into stupendous prosperity in the journey to greatness.

Now consider, from the mouth of God, the source of these nuggets of greatness:

“Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard. Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun.”(Psalms 19:2-4)

If you go into slumber at midnight when the belly of darkness is being opened up, to reveal the mysteries that make for mastery on the earth:

1. Can you wake up at 7 a.m. in the morning as a king?

2. Would the day be in servitude to do your bidding?

3. Would you have the spiritual authority and mental confidence to command the day?- (Job 38:12)

4. Who or what is that ‘bully’ at the gate of every day that seeks to resist your entry into daily fulfilment?

5. What do I mean by ‘your voice’ and the ‘battle of the gate’?

6. What is the God’s pattern of greatness that many of us have been missing?

7. What is the structure (foundation, building and roof) of this greatness?

8. What does the midnight show and what speech does the day make, that we’re so accused of being blind and deaf to?

I ask these poignant questions because my heart bleeds every waking day when I see multitudes drag their feet about in daily defeats as victims and prisoners of a war (POW) they never knew how, and who started it, or even who their conqueror is?

These are some of the mysteries I would endeavour to unravel in my next article, for space and brevity of wisdom would not permit me, in this piece. I nevertheless, want to dedicate this small piece to a mentor and esteemed teacher of financial truth which turns financial captivity - ROBERT KIYOSAKI

It’s Your Life - Take Control

Wednesday, June 29th, 2005

If you seem to spend much of your life doing things for other people, if being ordered about from dawn till dusk is a normal component of your life, do something about it.

Perhaps you love being with your children, but don’t seem to have the time. Perhaps you yearn to become an entertainer instead of the current job that you hate. Perhaps the only reason you watch TV at night is because working all day has made you exhausted. What about your partner - do you have a happy relationship or does it contribute to your misery?

I’m not suggesting that you just yell at the next person who crosses your path, but I am suggesting you sit down with a fresh piece of paper & make a couple of lists about your life. Getting your life in some kind of perspective is one of the most important things an individual can do. It recharges our mental batteries and gives us renewed drive & purpose.

Write down the things that MEAN THE MOST TO YOU.

Be honest ! Don’t write things that you feel “should” be written. You have no obligations here, except to yourself ! Likewise, don’t omit things that may seem silly.

If your job sucks, don’t write “job”.

If your husband is a fool, don’t write “husband”.

If your cat means more to you than world peace, write “cat”.

Now, in a separate list, write down the things you are INTERESTED IN ACHIEVING. Again, don’t censor yourself. Disregard that little voice in your head that always says “You can’t - you’re not good enough”. Tell it to shut up. Start writing !

If you are overweight or pregnant, don’t be afraid to write “athlete”.

If you are lonely or isolated, don’t be afraid to write “marriage”.

If you drive a taxi, don’t be afraid to write “internet millionaire”.

Once you have listed both the things that truly mean the most to you in your life, and the things you would really love to achieve, making a change in your life becomes easier and inevitable.

The process of seizing control of your life’s direction is not terribly difficult or complex. By making a couple of simple lists, you have crystallised & defined your desires. Now you just need to step up and make it happen.

The Secret To Success!

Wednesday, June 29th, 2005

Without this, you’ll never succeed with any business opportunity.

There are millions of people all around the world who want to change, they want more money, more freedom and a great lifestyle, you just have to decide whether you are one of them.

Do you think this person will succeed?

This person lives on Moaning Avenue in Excuse city.

He is always moaning, his friend would always suggest ways out, but he would always have an excuse.

He would always say, I’ve got no money! His friend would say, have you thought about part time work, he would reply, I’m not doing that pyramid scam thing, it’s illegal.

He would say, My landlord has put the rent up again! His friend would say, why not buy your own property and use it as an investment. He would reply, my landlord does all the repairs and what if the interest rates went up.

He would say, I’ve got no money! His friend would say, If you don’t want to network how about working some overtime each week and investing that extra money. He would reply, you’re kidding right! At the end of the day I’m so tired the last thing I want to do is more work.

This person will never succeed, he has the wrong attitude and deep down he’s happy moaning and groaning, if he was truly unhappy he would want to change.

This type of person wants money, freedom and a great lifestyle, but only if it can be done without doing anything!

The type of person that succeeds is one who wants more money, more freedom and a great lifestyle, but is also willing to do whatever it takes to achieve their dreams.

A person who, after it is explained to them, understands the power of leverage and residual income, or whatever other benefits the business opportunity offers.

A person who is willing to listen, learn and apply all the business building principles, whether they are online, offline or both.

If a person is going to be successful, they must have the desire to succeed, without it, forget it, with lots of it, there’s no stopping them!

Good luck with finding your ideal home business or with your home business if you already have one.

One small question for you, have you got the desire to succeed? YES, you all shout!

Leadership for 2010 and Beyond

Tuesday, June 28th, 2005

I have been reading a lot of articles and books about leadership – or more to the point – the lack of leadership. All one has to do is look around at business executives, political leaders, the non-profit world and even in religious organizations. The examples of how NOT to lead are presented to us daily via newspapers, magazines, the internet and television. There are plenty of books, web sites, journals and seminars that teach and preach how to lead. So, why do we see so few examples of the kind of leadership that we need to take us to 2010 and beyond?

There are several key principals for effective leadership that apply today and will apply in the future. These cross generations, technologies, professions, disciplines and cultures.

- Listen. No matter how much you know there are always people who know more than you. They may be higher or lower in the pecking order. It does not matter. The art of listening is a skill that every leader needs to cultivate.

- Honesty and integrity. These should be givens. But they are not. And they matter as much with the little things as the big things. Do not lie, cheat or steal. In word or deed. And do not tolerate others who do – coworkers, employees, contractors or consultants. Lack of honesty and integrity can spread like a cancer.

- Work hard AND work smart. Some say work smart not hard. If you look at any great man or woman, they worked hard to achieve their fame, wealth, office or other achievement. Are there lazy people who accomplish great things? Some. But they are rare. And would you want to be one of them anyway. No, working hard AND working smart are the winning ticket for the leaders of 2010 and beyond.

- Put yourself last. A true leader does not put her or himself in front of his team. He goes to the back of the line. That means take care of your people first. From bottom to top. And make sure your subordinates do the same. Does that mean tolerate inefficiency and fat? Of course not! But do take steps every day to insure that every member of the team is treated with respect and that – in the great tradition of the U. S. Marine Corps – the privates get their chow (food) before the officers.

- Lead by example. Think of the best boss you ever had. What made that boss great? In all likelihood you followed the example of that boss or coach. Leaders are visible to their people. They will emulate them. Do the things in a way that you want the members of your team to do them. With humility, with quality, with focus and of course…with integrity.

Leadership is an art not a science. It can be learned. Applying the points outlined above will enable one to be a more effective leader in any field today, tomorrow, in 2010 and beyond.

Stress Testing: Making the Right Choice Can Make You “Stress Free!”

Tuesday, June 28th, 2005

Virtually all people at some point in their life will have to take a stress test of some form or another. Armed with sound information will help to ease any anxiety you may have at the mere idea of taking on a stress test. This commentary is committed to explaining the many different types of stress testing and hopefully makes you a more informed test subject.

1. Standard Pen and Paper Stress Test. These tests are the least “stressful”! You’ll only need to answer a few questions about your life-style and general orientations. You will only help yourself by being honest and responding in as full detail as imaginable. What you are concerned about? What is going on in your life? These stress tests are a breeze. The results can often times lead to a more loosened up and stress free life. While you may be surprised at the final result, only those who take action will fully gain from these forms of stress tests.

2. Internet Stress Test. BEWARE!!! Many of these tests are planned to finally sell you something. Make sure the test is designed by a legitimate organization with no ulterior motives. While these tests can actually be humorous at times, it is emphatically a buyer beware marketplace.

3. Exercise Stress Test. This is the most introductory type of physical Stress Test. It is planned to give a physician a basic understanding of cardiac function and pulmonary function. A cardiologist will hook you up to an EKG and have you bit-by-bit increase the speed and incline of the treadmill until you are at a brisk jogging pace. With the latest engineering available in nuclear stress testing, this test is considered a dinosaur. If you are experiencing any symptoms like chest pain, shortness of breath, radiating arm pain or persistent shoulder blade pain then this test is going to very inadequate.

4. Thallium Stress Test. This is the most sophisticated physical stress test available. This test is typically administered to people who are getting chest pain, shortness of breath or other symptoms connected to end stage coronary artery disease. Thallium Stress tests are just like an exercise test in that your heart is “stressed” through exercise. The big difference is that there is imaging of the heart that is done as well after a small dose of radioactive dye is injected. This lets the cardiologist to view blood flow to the heart to see where deficiencies occur and consequently a narrowing greater than 70% is taking place. This will imply that end stage obstructive coronary artery disease is happening and an additional invasive procedure like cardiac catheterization is called upon. In some cases where someone is unable to run on a treadmill, the doctor will induce stress pharmacologically.

Our website has a description of the many different types of thallium stress testing available. They include the following: Adenosine Thallium Stress test, Bruce Protocol Stress Test, Persantine Thallium Stress Test, Dobutamine Thallium Stress Test, Cardiolite Thallium Stress Test and Cardiac Stress Test.

Stress Testing is a first-class test in the APPROPRIATE patient. It has been easily proven that 56% of all people who have a NORMAL Nuclear Stress Test have enough early stage heart disease to warrant dealing with that patient as if they have already had their first Heart Attack. That is why all men over the age of 35 and all women over the age of 45 should have an EBT Heart Scan. An Excellent source of information on this test can be found at innerimaging.com/
